Gifts for the Children

I suggest you make it as personal for them as possible. What appeals to them, like the little girl would probably love barbie, or hello kitty something like that and the boys (if they are anything like my son) would love Pokemon and/or Yugioh....nothing to grown up. I am sure they will love it, you know kids love the idea of opening a gift wrapped.

Gurl I love me some barbie doll aslo...nah if they could only make hair pins small enough to pin up her hair that will be so cool :-)

Rony...how are the gifts for the children coming on...any new ideas?

Girl let me tell you something...my son had me battling Pokemon on his gameboy this morning in my car in the school yard...the things a mother has to do for love!

I think it should be a necklace or a bracelet for them. It will be something they can keep and pass on to their own children someday. They get little trinkets all year long so it really should be something special like that.

I have the same dilemma. I have my twin girls (10), my two goddaughters (8 & 9) and my step-daughter to-be (5) in the wedding party. Oh yeah, my godson as well (7). I couldn't invite one to be in the wedding and not the other so this should be interesting!!!

Anyway, for my daughters and step daughter to be, we are going to purchase a family medallion pendant for each of them. I don't know how to paste pictures otherwise I would show you. Basically we present them to them during the wedding ceremony to represent us becoming one big family (i.e. Unity candle).

I give gift cards or collectibles to the kids in weddings, it give them something to build on;

That dress is too fierce....luvs it!!!!. My son just got a collectible corvette for the christmas, I'm sure he would love this new one.....I actually agree that they should have something to build on - if they can contain themselves from playing with them.

In years to come they will look at them and remember that special day.
