Hi ladies, it's me again. As most of you know I will be relocating to Jersey City, NJ. I've lived in NY all my life. While I know NJ is not that far away, I'm a little nervous about being in a place that I don't know anyone (Bossy and Askalot I know I have you guys). I know you have relocated IslandB, can you or anyone else that has relocated share how the adjustment process has gone for you. I would really appreciate it.

Rhonda, it will seem hard at first, but you will adjust fine. The only difference I see between NY and NJ is you DO NOT need a car in NY but in NJ it's hard to get around the way you want to. You will be closer to NY than you think. Where I work (J.C) there's the Path station and Ferry's that go to NY and it takes anywhere from 3 - 10 minutes to get back to NY. Don't worry, Bossy and I will help you out as much as possible for you to get adjusted.
Askalot I truly appreciate you guys so much!!! Thank you. I told my FH I had "friends" in Jersey, and he said oh baby that's really nice (he doesn't know about the Vibride sistahood --but he's in for a shock -- LOL!)

It's so funny. My FH thought I lost my mind when I told him I was on the phone with Bossy. He said I never heard of her before. Then, I said, remember when I told you I'm a part of this website....lol It was soo funny. I think men get a tad bit jealous when we have new "friends". lol
You ladies who live in the United States have so many opportunities to meet each other - by ferry or train....

Don't worry Ronny, you will adjust just fine. It's not like you are moving across the country and leaving everything and everyone you know behind. Jersey City is really close to NY. My FH also thinks I am crazy. I heard him on the phone the other day when askalot called. He told his friend that it was "internet friend" on the other line. He said that I tell my son not to talk to people on the internet, but here I am giving my phone number to a stranger. LOL...it was hilarious. They just don't understand our relationship ladies. Wait until I tell him askalot may come to the ceremony...he will probably hit the roof.

hey girlies....so yall want relocation advice...u wont get none from me...lol i was a hurricane victim that moved to baltimore by force not by choice...with the clothes i had on my back...whatever else was salvagable *spelling* my mother shipped at a later date. I was hesitant, hated change...didnt like the way Americans treated me..couldnt really adjust...didnt have anything to call "my own"...lived out of a box and a bag for about 6 months....and hated the fact that my move resulted in the end of a 13 yr relationship/marriage...but to God be the glory...I met my handsome prince dis side ah de water...lol
