Hey there A-FREE....I love the idea of that CD cover, it is definitely different...I totally love it. I will be saving that page.

You know you are a part of the ViBride sisterhood when Charly gives you a nickname (A-Free) lol! You have very good and unique ideas. I checked out your websites, very nice. What are your wedding colors? I will be giving out two favors as well. I will be giving out Wedding Tea Bags, located on www.Annsweddings.com and a wedding CD also. At first I was going to put the Tea Bags in a frame that was designed especially for the Tea Bags. I then found some beautiful white organza bags with sequins and pearls which I purchased from E-bay. These bags were much prettier and less expensive.

Rony.....this is the first I am hearing of these bags...I know about the teabags but how come you holding out on us like that....(finger tapping) free up the site missy...how could you hold something that sounds so pretty...you know where I am I can not find nice things like you all :-( Oh yeah A-Free...Rony is correct with the nickname thingy :-) and thankls for the fabulous sites...just don't hold out like Rony...notice she is now in trouble (pouting)

Welcome A-FREE! The wedding favors I will be giving out are a program paddle pan, candles, & 8 oz. frosted tumbler cups. I'm sick of the traditional bubbles & matches. I wanted to give out something people could use. Instead of candles, I might make my own magnets. I am also making the paddle pan.

This is nosey me....TonyL 2 things....first, what is a program paddle pan? and second, honey no one uses wedding give outs...they are just too pretty and people like to keep them to remember the bride and grooms special day.

Hey Charly, I'm heading to the corner!! (lol). A-Free, beautiful colors. I didn't mean to hold out on you guys, but A-Free had the wonderful idea to create this post, so it was the perfect time to "reveal" what I had in mind for the favors. I chose Tea Bags because my theme is "Victorian Elegance" and I just thought it was fitting. Askalot and TonyL, great choices for wedding favors.

Well some people call it a paddle fan, but we all know it as a church fan. I just wanted something different.

Me too TonyaL, I'm tired of the traditional matches and bubbles too. Charly I'd rather say that you are a "good" influence instead of a "bad" one. (lol)

Thank you for your kind words Marshine! Charly if you go up two posts from the organza picture, you should be able to click on "my wedding favor" to see the actual tea bag. Maybe if Rosetta, gets a chance she can work her magic with it.

A-free, that's a great idea about the CD case.I'm making a CD but I haven't decided on other favors yet.I too am sick of the matches and bubbles.

Welcome May 2007! The bags of jelly beans is a great idea. I am using the CD cases as a program and favor. It will have our CD in it, the program, a special poem from my FH to me, program for the reception and thank you note to our guests. I am also doing bookmarks and white chocolate covered pretzels with the phrase "we tied the knot" tag on the bag!

All the favors are just really beautiful all of the guest will enjoy them, especially the Cd's, everyone loves CD's

For wedding favors I want to give the men Chocolate Cigars and the women Chocolate Roses, then a bag of candy for the kids. I've been checking around and its really cheaper than I thought it would be.I wanted to go with this idea becasue I think its very different than the usual almonds and chocolate in a organza bag or bubbles. I want everyone to feel special for having the honor to attend our wedding and what better way to celebrate than with chocolate.........

My wedding date is Sept. 1, 2007. I am getting married in Atlanta in the backyard of a House Museum. I wanted to use fans as wedding favors. Either folding or hand held (stick) fans with an engagement picture and wedding date on it. I also wanted to make bookmarks with the same information. But since the wedding is outside in Atlanta and I have guests from Ohio, I thinking of only using the fan idea. Any suggestions?

Thanks ladies. I was a litte worried about people getting upset because they didnt get a fan. Hopefully it wont be as hot that time of year and that late in the evening. Now I just need to see how to incorporated the wedding colors in the favors. My colors are burnt orange,mandarine orange, and cream. How does the combination sound to you vibrides? One of my favors will be a bag with chocolate hugs and kisses and with a little note tied on with ribbon the same color of our wedding saying "Thanks for sharing in Our Special Day! Hugs And Kisses"

WELL THE FAVORS THAT I PICKED FOR MY WEDDING WILL BE PUZZLES. I AM GOING TO HAVE OUR PHOTOGRAPHER TAKE OUR PICTURE SO I CAN SEND IT TO THE COMPANY TO HAVE THEM MADE. THE BOTTOM OF THE PICTURE WILL HAVE OUR NAMES ALONG WITH OUR WEDDING DATE. THEY WILL BE PLACED IN A TIN CAN AND THE TAG WILL SAY PUTTING TOGETHOR THE PIECES OF OUR LOVE!

Now that's a first - but I like it!
