trumpeter

I am having a trumpeter play a fanfare right before I walk down the aisle. he will be up in the balcony of my church so none of the guests will know he is there until he starts playing. He will play a tune simlilar to what is played when a king or queen is announced. He is also going to play something when me and FH ride off at the end of the ceremony. This is my question. He also wants to play something when I arrive at the church so the guests will know that I am there. I am not really sure if I want him to do that though because I really don't want anybody to see me before walk down the aisle. The price is the same whether he does that or not. That is not an issue though, I just want to know your opinions.

Hi Bossie, you say that your trumpeter will play a fanfare right before you walk down the aisle. Personally I think that would be enough, because at that time, your guests will know you are there. If you don't want your guests to know when you arrive at church then it probably wouldn't make much sense to play. I always like to be surprised and to play right before you walk down the aisle would definitely be a pleasant surprise. -- just my 2 cents :-)

I know over here when the bride is pulling up to the church the limo plays a fanfare...that indicates that she is outside and everybody get in place. I love the idea of the fanfare when you at the door jut before your entrance select starts...that'll get the hearts racing in anticipation.

Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.

Bossy, that is going to be sooo beautiful!!!! In my opinion, I think that the fanfare and you and FH leaving the church will be great. I don't want anyone seeing me either before the service, so I wouldn't have him play anything before my walk down the aisle. Will he also be at the reception? Being that he will charge you the same price whether or not he plays when you arrive at the church, can he play something when you arrive at the reception site instead?

Re: trumpeter

Can you get 2 for the price of 1 and they make an arch or stand at the door on both sides on your entrance at the reception?
