Congradulations! I dont think you will have much showing in your dress unless you typically show early.You will be too happy to care about your belly showing anyway.And you can always get your dress altered.As far as noticable it may be depending on how you fell.People will probably tell you you are pregnant before you tell them.Its a glow we women have or the morning sickness will give it away...lol you could just blame that on being nervous.

Girl Bossie...when I had my daughter my son was 15 months but had a lot of sense so much so that he tried to pull her amblical (spelling?) cord...good thing I was right there to take it out of his hand. Boys are very jealous so tell him gently.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you and your FH! Tell your son that now he has someone that will look up to him and worship the ground he walks on. That should make him blush! One of my girlfriends got married and she was 5 months pregnant and she didn't show much at all. I have another that got engaged on Christmas 2005 and was supposed to be getting married in Jan. 07 but she changed her date to March 25, 2006 because she found out she was pregnant. She doesn't want people to know that she is until after she's married. You only have 3 months so you should be fine. Best wishes and many blessings!

You know I just recently had a dream about a baby, and whenever I have baby dreams either I'm pregnant or news is coming that someone else is. And I honestly thought for a minute my son was going to tell me his little fast tail girlfriend was pregnant and yal would have to see me on cops for killing him. Congratulations, Boss Lady!I'm so happy for you!You won't be that far into your pregnancy so I doubt if you need a maternity dress.But, you may need to alter it.I didn't start showing until 5 1/2 to 6 months into my two pregnancies.So if you're like me, you might not have anything to worry about.The good thing about your son being 13 is that there's an age gap and there shouldn't be any sibling rivalries.

Bossie's pragnancy with solely depend on her body structure...Platinum you showed at 5-6 months and if I can recall you are very slim correct!...I showed at 3 months, at 7 I looked like I was ready to deliver and my son was 10 lbs 9 1/2 ounces.....so you see it really depends on her body. She may not need a maturnity as you stated Platinum but her best bet is not to get a really tight dress (just in case)

mY RING IS A PAST PRESENT & FUTURE SET IN PLATINUM. i CAN'T FIND ONE THAT LOOKS LIKE IT ON LINE AND when I try to take a pic of it in my finger, it looks grey. Yuck. Each diamond is a full carat and it cost more than my daughter. lol It is embarrassing. A bit much, especially in bright sun. Think about that when choosing a ring. If you are a subtle or conservative person, choose a ring that is modest, but a great quality stone. Hubby has gemology as a hobby.

Tell Eloi he has a fabulous hobby and maybe he should consider offering a short course in gemology for men {this is a hobby all men should have lol} Girl as wonderful as this ring sounds I think even the most modest of us will have absolutely no porblem sticking out the ring finger showing off that ring all day :-)

When I first got it I would ride in the car (passsenger) with my hand out the window! [blushing in shame] One time I was in my favorite restaurant and we were under one of those spots. It was so embarrassing. People kept commenting on it and it was blinding this guy across the way! We finally asked them to put out the light or move us. The poor waiter had to remove the bulb! I said I would never tell that story and now thousands will see it! [lol]

It just solidifies how wonderful of a man Eloi is....he sounds like a keeper :-)

Charly, you're right.When I got pregnant, my tummy didn't show it for a while but my bust size increased from A-cup to DD-cup.Then after I have my babies, my bust went back to B-cup.But, you're right Charly.Every one's body is different.

Oh yeah I forgot about the breast...oh boy oh boy! and hey what about the nose (bugle) and the shinny neck...Lord, women of color can really change when we get pregnant.

Hey Nbostic - congratulations. Pictures all around when baby is born please! I just wanted to tell you though that generally women show earlier in a second or third pregnancy than the first just because the body is a bit more used to the physical changes of pregancy and is less resistant. So definitely take into consideration that you might have to make alterations on your dress and plan accordingly. As to the gender - I know some of you might take me to task on this but - Girls Rule!

BTW Rosetta - can you ask your husband about the eightstar diamond. My FH got one of those for me and I love it - but I'm not sure how it compares to other diamonds in terms of quality except of course what they say on the eightstar website - which is that its the best quality diamond in the world - but of course that is as expected since they are advertising their diamond

I didn't show until I was in my 7th month with my 1st preg. The 2nd one I started showingat 4 mos. But the last one I looked like I was carrying twins by the 5th mo.

Rosy, that son of mine is fast too. It ain't just the girl! But by the time I finish reading both their lil hot tails, sex is the last thing on the mind.
