Ladies I went to the see the Medea movie this evening and I strongly recommend all of us watching that movie...MAN you'll gatta see the wedding ceremony...GIVE ME STRENGTH...those of use with Platinum as a part of our color sceme will definitely appreciate seeing it. Rosey remember we were talking about a poem at the beginning right before the brides entrance...well Maya Angelou read a poem right before and then (famous singer can't remember his name right now) started singing whilst she walked down the isle by herself (same thing I wanted to do)...man you'll please go see the movie--I am too excited...can anyone tell!? Yes the movie was awesome and the wedding seen was simply heavenly!!!!! My FH was taken aback when she opened the door and said "I give you Paris" He was like wow, now that's a wedding! Do your thing Charly!

The movie was wonderful........the wedding scene had me tearing up.....did you guys like the angels with harps that were suspended?........I went to see it when it first opened...and I'm returning with my daughter this morning to view it. Tyler Perry is a mastermind.

Hold me precious Lord.......Tyler Perry is a gift from God - bold enough to create an amazing film without losing touch with God and incorporating Him into the film. WOW!!! My daughter especially loved the angels suspended...so cool!

DON"T SPOIL IT! I am going to see it this week. I can't wait! I saw the character for the FIRST time at my cousin's house this christmas. They pop in a black video every thanksgiving and christmas. Usually something non mainstream and it was Tyler Perry plays! I laughed so hard I couldn't catch my breath. Now how is THAT for being out of touch??? lol

I saw the movie on opening night also. It was great. We went to a late showing, and I first I was falling asleep, but I was definitely up for the wedding scene. I was speechless. Charly...the singer is Johnny Gill. The song is called you for me. I have already incorporated the song into my ceremony. It is absolutely beautiful.

I saw Medea on opening weekend too. Tyler Perry is amazing and he has truly been BLESSED. I've been following him from the beginning. Even my 4 year old daughter loves Madea!!!! In the movie she said, "Mommy I want your wedding to be like that. It is sooo pretty." I said, "yeah baby. If mommy hits the lottery then she can have that". lol
Askalot girl you can have that...you do not need a lottery, just improvise where necessary, if you can't get any of your friends to go in the roof (lol) then hang a lot of tulling with string lights in it, lots and lots of flowers make sure you gat on a big ball gown etc etc etc...you can do it girl :-)

I saw it twice, had to! It was very good, so many messages in there. All I could think was, boy we really need to go back to the way is was when we (33 - 40yrs ago) were young. When the village raised the child, not children raising children.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe that I still have not saw this movie. FH and I will be seeing it in the near future. My daughter already saw it and speaks very highly of it. The movie was really good and the wedding was so pretty. My FH eyes really opened wide and all I can say to him was WOW! Now i'm going to see it again with my daughters.

the movie was great i loved how the wedding turned out i couldnt get it off my minds for weeks. it was just great. tyler perry is a great person and writter. have you ladies seen his screen plays he has about 5 out on dvd right now.
That wedding scene....mmmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm. LOOOOOVED IT! In fact the entire movie was excellent! The beginning of this year, after three years of "I don't need no man" my biological clock has started ticking. All I have on my mind right now is, I gotta get married...gotta get married. So I recently started dating again and I now see why I stopped in the first place. But anywayz, I went and saw that dag on movie and that bad boy got me all fired up...now I'm like I gotta get me "one one of those" so I can have me "one of those"!

i had already watched the movie like 5 times. tyler perry is a great man with a gift for God and is blessed to have all us ladies love the movie and talk about it the way we do

I spoke with FH and we are definitely going to see it. He works on the weekend (teaching inner city youths marching band). So I have to work around his schedule, but I wanted to make it a family outing so we have a date and I can't wait!!!!!!

Niqueyyyyy!! sorry honey - I think I stressed the computer out the fan stopped spinning and you know that is not a good thing - next the CPU would have burned up :-( but we caught it in time and I told them I am not leavig without my computer and I said as a matter of fact whilst I wait I need to use one of ya'll computer to go on line..lol
