That is a nice idea. Although I heard that you're not really getting your money worth because they collect them back after they're released (some kind of call or training).
Let me rephrase it. The doves doesn't just go into the wilderness. The company that you get the from gets the same doves back and give them to another event and keeps the chain going It's just like renting them. Just something I heard.
Also keep in mind that birds have their own minds. I know this isn't very funny but I couldnt hel but to laught. At my stepfathers niece furneral my Big Mama and the girl mom bought Doves to release when they put her in the ground. The girl died at like 14 of Cancer and she loved doves. The Doves her mom bought flew away all nice and pretty in the sky...The Doves my big Mama bought.....once they opened the cage the birds walked out and stood around with everbody else like they belonged there. They never flew away, there was people shooing them away but they didnt budge. There was a joke saying she bought some white pegions and said they were doves. Since I live in Los Angeles that was so funny to me because I see piegons everyday and they walk right beside you like they belong on the ground. So please keep in mind that they have minds of their own......
what do you ladis think about dove being released after the cermony and the finally farwell to the family. would you ladies think that's a good idea
Doves pooh. Make sure they are released AWAY from you and your guests not over you. They are very beautiful and symbolic. People will love them.
