Hi there Exhale (Waiting to...)welcome girl....Listen, yes you do have a slight problem but I am sure if thought of carefully, we can figure this out.

It will be rude to ask your guest to get out of the way whilst you change the ambience...so why not have a cocktail moment outside while you take pictures. Serve them drinks(wine/cider) cheese and grapes, they can stand around and watch you take your pictures or chat amongst themselves, at least the refreshments will keep them from cutting their eye at you (lol) and the caterer can be inside doing their thing.

I think the butterfly ceremony is a great idea. Also you can stage a video ceremony, meaning I was actually going to do that as well and will the room was going to be changed over we were going to set up a small tent where the guess would come over and watch a small video or slide show of him and I. When we met (like a store telling session) and you could have baby pictures tell about the both of you all the way up until you met! That would be really nice and it would that their mind off of being away from the ceremony temporarily. or you could also use this time to have your videographer to interview your guest to put together a presentation for you and the groom. There's a lot that you can get creative with. Good luck, I know it's going to be just beautiful

This is a great question. I am having one venue for my wedding and reception as well (museum).

How about a balloon release where each guest or a group of guests could give you and your fh well wishes and tie to the end of the balloon. That would buy you some time with them coming up with sweet words of wisdom before the release.

1. Use this opportunity to thank and greet each guest personally. Like an informal recieveing line.
2. Consider using this time as a photo op with the new husband and wife. Offer champagne on pour while they wait for their turn with you.
3. Set up a game of croquet or bacci ball outside. I loved those games as a child.
4. Or you could have a voclaist or magician or comedian perform outside on the lawn and have everyone gather around to listen.
