No you would not be wrong! I believe that it is very inconsiderate for people to drop out of a wedding that is next week. Shame on them!!!! Will you be able to get replacements? Gurl my prayers are with you. Be encouraged.

No you are not wrong!...they are so wrong for doing this to you. If you can find replacements then by all means do that but in no way do you refund anybody their money (if they paid already) tell them, it was their decision and they left you at a point and it is now wrong to even consider to ask someone to pay for a wedding so close, tell them they are paying for the replacement to stand.
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
yes it all worked out after hours of trying to figure things out my son will end up escorting me and being his daddies best man.
Gurl I thought I heard it all. I can't believe the audacity of these people. I'm glad it is working out for you! God is good!

you know i haven't thought about the money i spent to pay for my sister and sister in-law material, patterns and there accessories just there things alone was over 80.00 plus i had to pay for the material to be shipped to them so that they could have it. As for their dresses they never even went and had them made isn't that some S&*t

I'm so sorry that this happened to you! I'm glad that it has worked out though. I'm amazed that they all did this at the last minute. Did they even give you a reason. It's evident to me that since your sister and sister-in-law didn't get their dresses made that they had made that decision a long time ago and just didn't tell you. I pray that you have a wonderful wedding despite this minor setback. Many blessings!

Charrice, I feel bad for you. You are definately not wrong for being ANGRY with them. What did they say the reason was? Are they still planning on attending the wedding?

I feel awful too. My prayers are with you and your FH. I would like to know if they are planning to attend also.

At least it worked out for you though. Some people just don't have any consideration! What was their reasons for backing out so close? You seem to be handling it ok, because I wouldn't be STRESSED, I would be FUMING!

Now you know why people make BMs pay for the dresses themselves. When people invest in the wedding they are less likely to screw around with their own money. It is odd that they all dropped out at the same time. Any particular reason?

my sister and two guy cousins said they are strapped for cash and my sister in-law says she cann't get off of work because of new management keep in mind she supposedly requested these days off and yes my sister and the two male cousins will be there. But God has made a way for me and I'm going to be alright. I thank you all for your advice and concern and i will be thinking of you all on next Saturday April 22, 2006 oh and by the way we are renewing our vows.
My prayers are with you. That is totally inconsiderate that people would wait to the last minute to drop out.The ones with the cash flow problem should have atleast told you ahead of time so that you could have worked something out.As far as the sis and SIL are concerned,a simple "I don't want to participate" would have been better than having you to go through so much trouble. But now, atleast you have things worked out.God Bless!
