How many people are used to pull the aisle runner for the bride? How does it stay down? I saw a wedding on TV once where the aisle runner was crooked. Don't want that happening. Just trying to get things together. Thanks

Just tell your ushers/host/hostess to pay close attention to this detail...it does not take much for them to keep it straight...and unless you are getting married outside it should stay down

I saw on "Whose wedding is it anyway?" a wedding planner nailed the aisle runner to the wood deck where the bride was getting married.Maybe you can find some little nails or pins to hold it down.
Thanks DaughterRhonda. How are things going with you?
Ladies don't forget to use extra double sided tape to keep the runner down. I heard some funny stories. One being the runner was pulled from the back to the front and when the bride started walking down the aisle the runner was caught in the back of her gown going down the aisle with her. Someone ran down the aisle when they noticed and unfolded the runner.
The other story was when the runner was pulled from the front to the back it kept going to the back because the tape didn't stick down in the front and the pullers didn't realize the runner wasn't sticking.

I'm getting married outside, and yes, I'm afraid of tripping on it. I wonder if I can get a red carpet set up....
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.

Do I have to have 2 people or can I just use 1 person. Would it look better with 2people?
It would work better with two people I think.

I like the idea of 2 people better than 1 person
