Bridal Registry

My bridesmaids have been bugging me to create a bridal registry before my shower. I have been keeping house for years and have had 2 house warmings within the last 4 years so I don't need another pot, pan, towel, or sheet. Can you ladies please share your ideas on what else I can register for other than lingerie.

New bedroom set, a washer, dryer, refridgerator...just to name a few. People will pay something on whatever you choose.

Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.

I know askalot, I was stumped too. Charley, I hadn't thought about a bedroom set or a refrigerator...good suggestions. I created a registry at Fredericks of Hollywood and a registry for my Honeymoon. I also told them that gifts cards to Target, Macy's, Bath & Body Works, Bed Bath & Beyond and Vicky Secrets would be appreciated. I think that is sufficient.

I don't think so Charley...hubby is not a home improvement kind of guy. The honeymoon registry is for both of us and the lingerie is for him too (wink wink)

Re: Bridal Registry

Girl I with you on that one but in my experience they always say wedding registry is for the women because there is nothing in it specifically for men..that was my first husband's cry...so what I mean is, whatever he likes no matter what it is, add it on the registry and ensure he sees it (incognito) winking!.

Re: Bridal Registry

I and my FH am registry at a few places, but the greatest place is Wedding Miles. Your guest can buy your Wedding Miles to fly on your honeymoon or anywhere.
Wedding Miles

nlbostic that's a great idea asking for gift cards, maybe you and your Fh can ask for Moneytary Gifts as well, that's what we are things of doing.

I think the gift cards are definately a plus, especially if you get Amex Gift cards, you can use them anywhere.

Re: Bridal Registry

I agree with Charley, put whatever things your FH likes on the resistery or his favorite place to go.The men who actually buy the gifts will think of him if/when they see the registery.

Good ideas,Ladies.I like the gift card ideas.Lowes is a good idea for my FH but I really don't think he needs any more tools. He has enough to build his own hardware store.Bossie, you can never have too much lingerie.

Re: Bridal Registry

That is true; our house could use a lot of appliances. We might have to registry at Lowe's or Sears in order to get some appliances.
