No Center Aisle

Soon (and some ladies may have) I know you didn't have a center aisle. How was your set up? I'm helping a bride that has no center aisle ...the aisles they do have are on a down hill. Three sections of seating and the entrance in the back (what seems to be the pastor's study, where he and the groom would probably come from) is on the left. That so much isn't a problem, I guess they would just come out and walk over. Walk the "right" aisle maybe? I'm being pulled in so many directions that my head is spinning LITERALLY and I can't think. Please advise, get me started at least so I can have something to go off. She one of those "it doesn't matter to me, whatever YOU want to do" brides ...it's like pulling teeth to get her to make a decision!

Re: No Center Aisle

I'm having this same problem. My church dosent have a center aisle but at all the weddings held at my church the bride comes down the left aisle from the entrance (lobby) door of the church.

In my case I will have two aisle runners both aisle decorated and the bridal party will come down the right aisle and my flower girls and I will be the only one coming down the left. HTH

Just Busy ..Good and Better (I wrote bad at first, but I didn't want to seem like I was complaining! :))I guess. As you know I'm finishing up my last two classes and study for a final. Called in to help with 2 weddings OF WHICH are 2 weeks apart in November. One of which, got called in this week or friday something like that ...and she needs her invites by this friday. Still wanna do our grad party, so I'm sorta working on that. Thinking/planning something for our anniversary which is also just a few months away. Just so much going on ...I read alot, everyday mostly ...but couldn't dedicate no real time to posting. Poor excuse!!! :( I'll do better :)

Hey SweetP ...I'm still working on your stuff too! Didn't forget ya :)

Your girls and guys are coming down one aisle together?

Another thing I was thinking that the ppl in the right section of seating wouldn't be able to "see" the bride coming down the left aisle with the center section of ppl standing? Did yall follow that? it's 3 sections of seating.

Re: No Center Aisle

Hey T!! Yes, my church has 2 isles, so the guys came down on one side in a single line and the ladies down the other 1 at a time; during the procession, we all walked down the isle the guys came down paired together.

In the case of the wedding you are planning, you can have the party come down the isle closest to the ladies side with the men escorting them to their spot and then taking their position and when leaving the men can go and grab the ladies again and walk them up the isle. The last wedding I went too was like this...HTH :)

Re: No Center Aisle

yeah it helped thanks!!! I'm more concerned about the bride being seen with the 3 sections of seating. How did that work out?

Re: No Center Aisle

I did a wedding that had this same aisle set up. The men and women both walked separate aisles but they walked the aisles at the same time. This took alot of practice to make sure they were both walking at the same pace, in line with each other. The Bride walked the aisle closest to the women. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about those people on the far outside aisle to see better.

OK...You are definitely busy..
But I think I will have them come down the aisle together because its alot of them and I dont want it to be all day with just the bridal party getting in...I guess.....Girl I dont know!now I trying to think of something else myself....LMBO! I dont think you can do much about the right side being able to see the bride. I did go to one wedding where they told everyone to stay seated when the Bride entered but thats just an idea.

Re: No Center Aisle

Pam that's what I was thinking for the party. And also what I was thinking for the Bride being seen. Maybe I won't have anyone sit in the right section. Just middle and left. Or staying seated is a good idea too! Thanks ladies.

Girl, you sound way busy.

I agree with the have everyone stay seated method. But you know there is gonna be a few slow people that don't understand english and will be standing to take pictures or something like that

Re: No Center Aisle

That's the way my set up is. We are going to request that everyone stay seated. I am coming up the left aisle but the groom and I will exit down the right aisle just for those that won't have the opportunity to see.
