Hi Ladies, I just wanted to vent for a second. Everything I planned thus far that I want for my wedding has come to fruition. However, I really want to have ivory chair covers with the burnt orange sash for my reception. The thing is they are so expensive and it's so irritating to me because I want them and can't afford them. Maybe if we weren't having 300 in attendance it wouldn't be that bad. For 300 chair covers alone at the cheapest place is $900 to rent. I even looked on Ebay and they have them for $1800-$2400. I know that this is out of my reach but it's so disappointing because that's somehing that I've always wanted. I haven't even mentioned it to FH because he would have a cow. My mother and 2 wedding coordinators are like no mam, that's too costly. I could easily charge them but we have no credit card debt and I want to stay that way. Ok, my reality check is I can't afford it so get over it! Just needed to express my feelings.

I really hope that you can find a way. Do you know a good seamstress that would be able to do that for a fraction of that price. Maybe some of the ladies here can recommend one for you. Don't give up hope. PB&J, I wish you all the best! Hang in there darling.

Thanks Rony for the suggestion but to do 300 would be alot to do when all the seamstress that I know have a full time job. I appreciate your support. I'm going to be fine.

Thanks Charly for taking the time to look. Unfortunately they are about the same price as all the others I've checked on. If I ordered from there it would be about $1200 plus shipping cost. Again, I appreciate your looking out for me.

Thanks Charly for the website! If you find any more places, please let me know. My thing is, my venue have all the chair covers that I need, just not the color sash that I want. They have ivory sashes, but I wanted to add some color to it as well.

Try www.uslinen.net. They have them at $2.00 a chair including the organza sash. I don't think they get much cheaper than that.
I was going to get mine from them until I found out I only have two hours to decorate, so I had to hire a professional to come in and put them on. The place I am getting mine's website is www.chaircoversonline.com. They are running a small special. They are charging $2.70 a chair to rent them, and $3.70 a chair to rent them and have them put them on. Don't you just hate how expensive this stuff is.
