Favorite Celebrity Wedding

You know, I don't have a favorite celebrity couple. But, just last night "Do The Right Thing" was on and I said that is a FABULOUS couple.

However, I admire my mother and father. Next month, they will be married for 37 years. My mother has shown me that marriage is work - it's not always peaches and cream. Her and my father has been through a lot (exluding physical abuse) but their love was so strong that nothing could conquer it. And you know what, I can only remember one time as a child my mother being upset with my father. But, they had enough respect for me to never argue in front of me. I told my mother, they are truly a blessing. And I only pray that my marriage will last as long as theirs have.

By far, Ossie and Ruby. We don't really know what their marriage was like, and I absolutely admire that! All you ever saw was love and mutual respect for one another.

Are a true testament of love. Their marriage was very rocky, but there was always love and mutuial respect. Mine is Denzel and his wife. Island love always strong. Women called him "uncorruptable" which is saying a lot about a hollywood man.

What can I do for them? I don't want FH to feel bad because his parents are divorced - which his father is now deceased. But, I am having something for his dad.

Honor them by playing their 'first dance' song and let them have the floor, them you and your husband join them on the dance floor.

I like Will and Jada as well.I just love how family oriented they are.
I also admire the relationship my grandparents have. They have been married for over 40 years and they worked through the good, the bad, the ugly the sick and the health. My grandmother is currently taking care f my grandfather who had been bed ridden for the last 9 years due to multiple strokes. She could have taken him in to a nursing home and let him stay but she chose to care for him herself, and she's hanging in there at age 71.My grandfather is amazing himself.He took care of my grandmothers 6 kids from a previouse marriage (with their father as well) and never once complained.He treated them all like they were his biological children, and he never played favorites when he finally had a child of his own woth my grandmother. Through all my sick times and hospital stay (and there were alot) he was always there by my side.He is a fighter and a survivor.

Well they aren't celebs but my grandparents have been married for 50 years, it will actually be 51 on June 22nd. They are still full of spunk and very young in looks and spirit. They too have been through alot but have managed to stay together through it all. Now I thought you wanted our favorite celeb wedding but when I read the post it was couples so I just followed the crowd.

Favorite celebrity wedding?Bobby and Whitney!Just kidding.I really don't keep up with the hollywood scene.

That was a very nice idea. However, my parents didn't have a BIG wedding. They got married in the church and had the reception in my aunt's apt. I asked my mother the other day what was their first dance song and she said they didn't have a first dance song because the whole apt was dancing from the beginning to the end. lol

So you go find a song that is meaningful and you think tells the story of their love and dedicate it to them for a first dance.

My mother told me that was one of their favorite songs. Do you know I asked her the other day what song was playing and she girl, I don't know - I can't remember. I told her shame on her!!! lol

I really like Jada and Will, as well as Denzel and his wife, Pauletta -- another example of a great, drama-free Hollywood marriage.
