Hi ladies. I've been told that some brides change their shoes into a slipper or flats to be more comfortable at the reception. How many of you ladies considered this?

Delight yourself in The Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart!Ps 37
I will definately!!!! I'm not a heels person - only when I get in my mood. That's mainly because my feet aren't the same from HS and college years. lol I will wear a small heel during the ceremony. And depending how I feel, I will probably change into a more comfortable/flat shoe.
I too plan to change toa satin slipper of some sort. I was in my cousin's wedding on Saturday and my feet were burning and throbbing during the ceremony so I know that I will need some for mine. I too have been looking on ebay for some but haven't run accross any yet. Rony please show us the picture of yours.
No one is going to see the slipper, I just want to be comfortable. That is the whole point, to be comfortable. PB&J. Here are a few suggestions. You may want to do something like this: Ballet Slipper #1 or Ballet Slipper #2 I personally prefer a slide on slipper something like these (I saw them on another post). Great Choice Too

I sure will change into my ballet shoes at the reception! I still have my old ones from when I used to dance, so that works out great! I love both pairs that Rhonda posted.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.
Delight yourself also in the Lord & He shall give you all the desires of your heart.-Psalm 37:4
If I get comfortable enough I will just take off my shoes--not that it's trashy but because I will be around people that I am comfortable enough to do that with and further more my dress is long enough no one will know other than my guy.
Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.
DaughterRhonda, those slippers are fab. If anyone sees them in black please let me know. My MOH broke her ankle in three places and is sporting a cast. She won't have on the cast Lord willing come wedding time but I overheard her say she will need to get into something flat during the reception because she'll have to get used to any type of heel on that particular foot. Her gown is apple red so a white pair would look funny. Can they be dyed?
I won't be changing. I have the Kerri shoes from David's Bridal. Most of my shoes look like that and I can run for days in my shoes. The Kerri shoes are no different.
But then again my feet may decide to swell for the first time in its' life on that day uh. I'll have slippers etc. on standby. LOL
God is good all the time and all the time God is good
I am DEFINATELY changing into slippers. NO if's and's or but's, lol. I know brides who wore slippers down the aisle. No one sees your shoes unless you are wearing a tea length dress.
That's why I'm considering painting my toe-nails blue for my "something blue" because noone will see them anyway.

I just ordered some beaded slippers from Ebay for just that purpose. My feet are very sensitive and they hurt if you look at them too hard -- LOL!!!
