Wedding Insurance?

Wedding Insurance anyone? Insurance is good to have just in case and you'd be surprised at what's covered. I didn't want to take any chances so I bought some last year to cover everything from a messed up bridesmaids dress during that day to stolen gifts and more. Peace of mind is for me. Just curious?

I tried to do a search for it online but can't find it anywhere. Marsh, what place (company) do you recommend?

Re: Wedding Insurance?

I was considering getting some (especially since I live in a 'hurricane' state where anything can happen during the months of July-November)...its not that expensive (considering what it covers)

I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.

Re: Wedding Insurance?

The thing with Insurance over here---they have to see an itemized listing of anything before it is considered for insurance, I have never heard of it but I am sure if I ask, they will tell me to bring everthing - same thing when we are insuring household items, they have to come and inspect....what happens if you have'nt purchased the things you want to insure and things you get only days before wedding, that means they are not covered. It's just too much of a headache and that is probably why they don't bother.

Charlotte wishes you all a beautiful Christmas filled with loads of love, laughter and the true meaning of this blessed season.

Re: Wedding Insurance?

Does the name Suze Orman ring a bell to anyone. She's a financial expert and she has a show on cable where she gives advice on any topic you can think of.

Her website is Suzeorman.com and just the other day her topics were on Bankruptcy and Weddings. Someone called in about wedding insurance and she told them about "Wedsafe.com"

You can purchase it way in advance of the wedding up until 15 days before your wedding.

Good luck

Yes I've seen Suze Orman on channel 13, 21 and QVC. The fact that a reputable financial advisor recommends this site, says a lot. Thanks Marshine!

Re: Wedding Insurance?

Hey Asky.....it sounds as if they cover only in the event you are coming here and not an actual resident - but I'll go look see.
