Ok, Ladies I need your help. My future in laws will be paying for our honeymoon and the location is a surprise. Fh and I have hinted that we wanted to go to Europe or somewhere tropical like Hawaii, St. Croix, Jamaica, etc. Well FH's mother called yesterday in a panic because since the info came out yesterday about the hurricane's predicted this year she is not sure if she wants to send us anywhere that we may affect our honeymoon. She asked if FH and I could think of several places in the states to go, to help them in their planning for us. Again, my wedding date is October 7th and we will leave on the 9th for a week to go some place. My question is do you all have any ideas about places we can go where we may not have to worry about a hurricane? Do you all think we should worry about the hurricanes? I know that God is in control but FH and I need a vacation bad and we don't want to be delayed in any way. I must add that Hurricane Katrina really scared me last year!Help

PB&J, this is me and FH problem too. Because our wedding date is during hurricane season too, we chose to go to Vegas. We've never been there before and want to go. We will go on our honeymoon though in March or April.
I can't think of any places in the states. Although I know there are some places. Why don't you check out resorts in the US? There may be some that we don't even know about.
I don't know anything off hand, but I'll do some research for you. Vegas is always good, you can't go wrong with that. As a matter of fact, I'm going there this weekend. (My friend is treating me to a pre-bachelorette party)

Thanks! Please let me know if you see anything.I have never been to Vegas and want to go but not for my honeymoon. I want to go to a more relaxing and romantic place. We will go to Vegas sometime in the future though. That's so nice of your friend.

Thanks Hamptons! I will look into them. I've been to Gatlingburg before so that's not an option.
