Just wanted you guys to have a look see of our currency....no it's not monopoly money...it's real....LOL!!!
You call this a dime - we call it 10 cents
And a quarter
The Bahamian dollar, unlike that of many countries, has the same value as the United States Dollar. This means it is much easier to know how much things cost in The Bahamas, the money works like what you use in The United States.

Your currency reminds me of the German Deutsch mark.(I think they use the Euro currency now, though). The only thing I don't like about your money is how they honor Christopher Columbus by putting him on it.(I used to study a lot of history and I have my reasons for why I don't like certain historical figures)Lol.Anyway, your currency is pretty cool.
Born Blessed!
Hi Charley, You sure post pictures good. I feel like I can pick the money up. Thanks for sharing the value of the money.

Actually Plat I understand what you are saying but that dollar was a special edition made only for our quincentennial celebration in 1992 but it is now out of circulation, the new dollar looks like the $5 bill you see there and I totally understand your views on Christopher Columbus..But you can relax honey. Love ya!
He really is only mentioned for the role he played for helping put the Bahamas on the map - other than that Christopher who??????

Do you know how your money translates into our money? What would your $5 be worth over here, and vice versa?

A far as the inside thing with you and Niquey I have a few questions or suggestions on how it looks familiar, now tell me how close I am..please I'm SO NOSEY AND CURIOUS.
1. You sent her some money as a suvonier or to spend when she visits for the wedding planning and the big day
2. She has already been there and kept some of the money as a memory.
3. You sent her some to know what she will be spending.
I give you so much credit for trying but you are so off ....luv ya thou :-)
