You would not believe The Queen's Staircase are 66 steps - honey the walk up is rough.
You can still see the marks of the tools in the walls where it took 60 slaves 16 years to carve the staircase out of the rock, which was used in the making of Ft. Fincastle.

I guarantee you wil enjoy it....from salvery to an independant nation in 1973 to a demoncratic society.....very interesting if I may say so myself. And I'll tell you what, I am still learning as I go because it's so much in this little small nation to know about.

That is so neat CHarley....Have you been in the Bahamas all of you life? You know so much about your homeland. Its sad to say but I been here in the US ny whole like and I havent found anything that interest me like your homeland does. I will have to do a research on history of The United States so I can learn more than my school books taught me and appretciate it more. Well mainly Texas and Califronia since those are the 2 states I grew up in.
I have lived here my entire life and to be honest with you I still do not know all about the Bahamas. To be perfetly honest I do a lot of research while I am talking to you guys so you can see my part of the world....I guess there are always things to learn about your home and it will take more than books - it will come with years.

She's 10 going on 30. So now I'm asked to take her on another cruise before school starts back and for it to be longer than 4 days.
I think it is so cool that you are exposing your daughter to cruising. That is wonderful. I went on my first cruise last year, and I made a promise to take my daughter on the next one!
