Bridezillas TV Show!

Does anyone know if these brides are being paid? That crazy Marsha on this season is a GHETTO DRAMA QUEEN! I promise she acts like she is trying to get an Oscar. she makes all black brides look bad with her pettiness and nasty attitude. She keeps saying that she and her FH are from "high profile" families and that "high profile" people will be at her wedding but did you all see the house she went in? She is a true witch but with a "b"! I would love to here from the girls who were in her wedding because she talked about them like they were nothing. She also makes her FH looks like a fool! Well let me here from you guys!

Re: Bridezillas TV Show!

I saw last week's show but forgot about this past sunday's show. I would love to see the repeat show. She was trifling. She didn't want anyone touching her ring, the gloves were an issue, her FSIL was an issue, the FH was an issue ayeyaya plus her voice was irritating. The show is very entertaining.

Yeah, I think she must be getting paid too. I'm not sure how many of you saw last night's episode, but did you wonder why if she's so high profile did she wait to the last minute to get a photographer? Actually, high profile people hire wedding planners that do everything. I initially felt sorry for her fiance, but he really needs to get a backbone. It's okay to be upset, but to say I'm not going to marry you. Come on!! The man had tears in his eyes. And, that clip from next week showed him crying in the car. Anyway, she acted such a fool last night that the other bride didn't even seem like a bridezilla.

I love that show! I've been watching it since last year & couldn't wait for this season to start. Marsha has issues...I fell asleep on Sunday night's episode, though. She acts like she's doing him a favor by marrying him.

I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.

Re: Bridezillas TV Show!

I have also been watching the show and Marsha is ridiculous and a bully to say the least. Her FH looks like a fool in this Sunday's episode. I don't know many men that would sit in a car and be brought to tears by their future wife. Marsha has made herself become more than she really is. She is nothing more than a spoiled selfish brat and needs to be put in check. I hate to see them in 10 yrs if she isacting like this know. We know who will wear the pants in that family. She is an embarassment to brides.

I used to watch it, but I stopped. (I told myself I wasn't going to watch any more wedding related shows because they were causing me to change my mind too much about my own wedding)

I think the participants of the show receive a free honeymoon or something. I know that's what the couples get that are on "Who's Wedding Is It Anyway"

I might have to tune in now so I can see this Marsha chick. When does it come on again?

I'm watching the show as I type. Archie cried his eyes out on this show. I felt bad for him. Marsha Bridezilla seems to be the type who can emotionally abuse a man. Archie better "Man Up."

Archie looked like a fool and is a fool for marrying her. She is totally playin with his emotions. I think the way that he was crying that he could flip on her at any moment and it could be deadly. I really don't think that she loves him or that his sisters wanted him to marry her.

I have never hated someone so much on a reality show!! I usually don't wish divorce on anyone, but I sure hope Archie comes to his senses. She doesn't love him, anyone could see that. I think she just wants a "wedding", not a "marriage", and there was probably no other man dumb enough to marry her. It's Archie's fault to because he is a push-over.

And what a waste of $83,000. I didn't see what was so spectacular about the wedding for it to cost that much. I thought it was right on that line between ghetto and country. Why did Andre and the groomsmen look like they were on their way to the players ball?

Re: Bridezillas TV Show!

Oh - My - Gosh!!

I could address each response one by one because I found this episode so interestingly funny.

I thought...Marsha must have made a plan with Archie that she was going to act rude and annoying, but say to him "it is just for the show, to make it more interesting"...then I realized "NO, it's Marsha's personality"!

1) High Profile comment (pure bliss)

I agree with you "Pure bliss". I kept watching for someone or something that would show itself to be high profile and yet, I saw nothing that remotely resembled "High Profile".

I have family in Arkansas, and yes, there are "pockets" of educated blacks that have gone to college and done well for themselves, however, those individuals do not live in a small house.

I kept wondering why the camera was only panned in on Marsha's face or they never extended the viewing area around her beyond 6" horizontally or vertically? Then I realized because Marsha was inside a typical Arkansas home. I can't speak against anyone unless I speak against myself...so I will...the typical black Arkansas home is like some of my families. They may no longer have a "tin roof" but it's still small, country and nothing at all about it speaks "high profile" to anyone.

2) Her ring comment (Marshine)
"Girl you not suppoose (I'm being funny since she rarely pronounced a word correctly through out her 3 episodes) to touch people's rings". Give me a break!! I felt sorry for Archie because she made that man buy her a ring that was too big for where she is in her life. Don't get me wrong. A big ring is fabulous...when you have a fabulous home, car, career and personal discretionary income to accompany that size ring.

However, when your a "nursing student" (I don't care if it's LPN or RN... she still said student) and your fiancee is finance/loan officer/analyst, you all can't afford that ring at the present.

Women like her get stuck in the "what other people are going to say when they see my ring" phase, and that's all they are concerned about. They are not concerned about what this type of purchase will do to our families (mine and Archie's) budget and how will recoup financially from this type of investment?

3) "but did you wonder why if she's so high profile did she wait to the last minute to get a photographer? Actually, high profile people hire wedding planners that do everything." (hampton_s)

Your also right! I realize she was being a pain in the rear and she most likely interviewed and found fault in her other photographers and now she was down to the wire.

She's high profile, yet the type of people she interviewed as a potential for her photo's looked everything but "high profile". The couple looked like "Ma and Pa" down from the mountain and the man looked like "brotha from da hood"....did you hear what she said to him, by the way "what you gon be wearing because your cool an all".

Marsha looks less and less HP and more and more "Hood rat"!

Archie's crying. Well, I have to disagree with this comment and give my man some slack. I say this because I picked up his other sisters comment about him being "his fathers child and his father just wanted someone to love him as well". While Archie did/does need to stand up for himself because I'm sure there are PLENTY of women looking for a man who will simply love and take care of them, I understand what a person is feeling when they feel the absence of genuine love and are seeking love. They unfortunately put themselves out there and make many mistakes in that search. People feel that love should be something that should be so easy to obtain, and yet love continues to remain elusive for them. So much so that they begin to question themselves and wonder what's wrong. When in fact nothing is wrong with them. ARCHIE, nothing is wrong with you, but your choice for a wife is not the right fit for your personality. I agree that "some" opposites attract, but not polar opposites. Marsha needs someone who will push back on her ridiculous demands, and Archie needs someone who will nurture his needs and desires, not make fun of or push away.

I still say Archie should run! I don't know when they actually taped this season, but it may not be too late for an annulment? :-)

4) "Marsha has made herself become more than she really is. She is nothing more than a spoiled selfish brat and needs to be put in check." (brownskinchick)

BSC you are correct! MARSHA has made herself out to be more than what she could ever be! No one else sees her this way, and I don't even think see she's herself this way. Note her comment "none of my friends know Archie's phone number because they might try to talk to him".

Marsha knows what she is working with and it's very little. She knows if Archie would have had the chance to met someone else with more class he would have been long gone.

I can't even say that Marsha is a spoiled brat - she was simply acting like a brat. Marsha may have brought herself some things (or Archie has) but she doesn't have much. She wanted the viewing audience to believe the story she was telling.

5) "I really don't think that she loves him or that his sisters wanted him to marry her."(pure bliss)

Again, I agree with you. Marsha never really showed him any genuine emotion. I know they at least followed them around for 10 days and in 10 days I never saw anything. I caught the hint from his sister Lisa when she said "if you have any doubts now is the time" and his other sisters comments "you just want to be loved". They both see that Archie is vulnerable and looking for love. He genuinely wants to give love and so much more, but Marsha at this point, was not about to back out of the marriage because of all she thinks she put into it and because "what would people think if I called it off"?

6)"I think she just wants a "wedding", not a "marriage", and there was probably no other man dumb enough to marry her"(bride2be805)

You are sooo right, lady. She seems to me to be the type that once she starts a process and others are involved, she can't back out because people might talk about her.

No other man that has a different personality and needs than Archie would marry her...but again, I don't think Archie is so much a "weak" man and a man who was/is looking to give and receive love. In the pursuit of love sometimes causes folks to have on blinders (thick blinders in this case)

6) "And what a waste of $83,000. I didn't see what was so spectacular about the wedding for it to cost that much....Why did Andre and the groomsmen look like they were on their way to the players ball? (hampton_s)

:-):-) :-)
My sides are hurting I was laughing so hard at this comment. When they gave the total I was "shell shocked" I said $83,000!! What!! I contrasted Marsha's wedding with Yoshie's and there was only a $17,000 difference.

Marsha's gown was $500 and Yoshie's was $3600...then I remembered that Yoshie did not have bridesmaid or all the people from the block and adjoining towns so that will definitely make a difference in your final total.

That was just nuts. No way would I have footed the bill for all those people. You are welcome to "come" to my wedding, however, I'm not paying for all you people to actually "be" in my wedding. But again, when you are trying to impress and be something that YOU ARE NOT you just don't my sound financial decisions. This wedding could potentially set them back financially for years. She's a student for gosh sakes. Stupid.

Well, ladies, I completely enjoyed our dialogue and I hope some how this gets back to Marsha, Archie or the producers at we who will then forward to Marsha so she can know without a doubt that absolutely no one bought her performance(s).

Re: Bridezillas TV Show!

I guess with enough digging you will find anything. I googled Marsha and found out she was on Dr. Phil in February 06, so I guess they may have gotten married some time late 05 early 06. It appears that Marsha's attitude has not changed since the wedding and Lisa is calling her on a few things.

Go to Dr. Phil and read the notes from the transcript. Interesting. I'm hooked. I have to buy the tape to see Marsha in live - vivid color tell this crap on national TV.

Oh, "virtuousV", Bridezillas does not aire in PA :-(

Re: Bridezillas TV Show!

LADIES... as you can tell, I am new. I got my grandmother hooked on Bridezilla after I saw Marsha's first episode... I have also NEVER EVER hated another woman in television history... except for maybe Omarosa (y'all know she cost Kwame that job!). Marsha is ridiculously childish. I watched it with my fh and we were TRYING so hard not to laugh @ Archie's crying... "SHE LEFT ME..." "... YOU KNOW I WOULD NEVER LEAVE YOU." and "I DON'T WANT TO BE ALONE" Those three things broke me out of my hysterical laughter and made me feel sorry for him all over again. I took it as Marsha can do anything in the world to him, trample on his feelings, emasculate him, just so long as she doesn't leave him... because of his fear of being alone. Woe is Archie...

^5 DivaBags on your astute observations!

1) WHERE IN THE HELL DID THIS 83g's come from?!?! What was it spent on?!?! My wedding isn't until 2009 (I'm a broke student, he's a busy professional... wanna do my share to contribute) and we estimate the MOST it will cost is about 20g's... that INCLUDES MY DRESS($399) AND MEAL FOR 150 PEOPLE. Getting married at the Wayfarers Chapel & reception immediately following at Trump National Golf Course both in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. For 83g's we can afford to take all of our guests to Mexico for a weekend pay for their rooms at an all inclusive resort and still have a better wedding & reception that what it looked like Marsha had. I read on Dr. Phil website that she had 2 receptions... 1 where she served peanuts & punch and then the sit down reception for her 'high profile' people!

2) WHERE WERE THE HIGH PROFILE PEOPLE?!?!? I was waiting to see the mayor or the reverend jesse jackson, rev. al sharpton, rev. run! somebody!

3) I whole heartedly agree w/ his sister that they are a divorce waiting to happen. And Marsha is some how going to blame Archie for the divorce and how his stress was making her more stressed. Also agree that she wanted the WEDDING and not the marriage... Marsha just wanted to party and be the center of attention.

4) I want to send Marsha a book.. This womans misuse of the english language on national television should be ashamed... I know I can find something else on her on youtube or google videos. fustrating vs. frustrating, pitchers vs. pictures, and a host of others I can't recall at the moment but found funny - in a sad way.

Let us all pray (to whomever you pray to) for poor Archie.

Re: Bridezillas TV Show!

lemme tell u whats good about Marsha... if it wasn't for her I would not have found this site. I was doing a google search to see what other people had to say about this crazy bridezilla - i wanted to know that other people felt like i did and to read other peoples opinions of her. So typing in Marsha Bridezillas into google has landed me here and I never wanna leave... hahaha... I'm gonna miss you guys in this coming week, Im gonna be on a road trip w/ my dad from CA to MS (pray for me y'all).. So I thank Marsha from bringing me to you guys through our mutual dislike for this horrible woman.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way. ~ Pablo Neruda

sistahgyrl... welcome to our happy little family... my first tip is to SET A BUDGET... Don't go broke trying to have the day of a lifetime then spend a lifetime trying to pay for it. Congrats on the coming wedding. I do hope that you will find some new friends and help here.

Welcome, TheDivasBag! I see you are alreasy an asset to the site! I can't get enough of bridezillas! I do admit that we all see a little of how others can view us when we won't back down on an idea for our own dream weddings. Maybe it will help with our own attitude adjustments???? Marsha is enough to make me the sweetest person alive! lol

Hamptons: Why did Andre and the groomsmen look like they were on their way to the players ball?

Re: Bridezillas TV Show!

I have to admit to myself that I have an obsessive compulsive personality. Once I get on something I just won't let it go until it's done.

Thus, Marsha, (in my mind at least) is not done. I had to find out a little more dirt on this sistha and I have.

She comes from a "very distinguished family" and this very distinguished family did not send her to college?

My guess is "NO" since she is an "Executive Assistant".

Before you ladies attack me...before going back to college years ago I too was an executive assistant. Remember, I said before I turn the hose on anyone, I will always turn it on myself first.

However, I NEVER told anyone I came from a very distinguished family.

This woman should have thought about a few things before she said or did them. She set herself up for this and she is being fired on from all sides.

I wish her sister-in-law, Lisa, could get a hold of this tread/blog, so she get a laugh at Marsha's expense.

1) Here's another blog I found on her that gave up the secret behind why she was a student, yet so distinguished. The dirt was she was currently working as an admin.
http://et.tv.yahoo.com/tv/14707/

2) They bash her on "best week ever"
http://www.bestweekever.tv/ble/

3) She's blocked her guestbook and took down her website on "the knot" because people kept pouring in insults:
Marsha's Guestbook

4) Lastly, you guys have got to check out the comments on WE (if you've not already done so). They ripped her a new one :-o)
http://www.we.tv/talk?pt=3&tid=83789

I'll bet you since the wedding, the Dr. Phil show and Bridezillas aired, Archie is REALLY thinking about this Marsha issue and wondering if he couldn't have done much better?

After seeing Marsha and reading most comments, it appears that most people found her extremely annoying and irritating. You know, people just don't like it when someone else comes across that way and it ends up hurting someone else in the process.

We (americans) may have our different views on many issues, but when it comes to wrong doing and attitude we just get angry and boy has the viewing audiences EVERY WHERE gotten angry.

Re: Bridezillas TV Show!

A search for "Harsher" led me to this site too. I'm glad to discover it, it's extremely helpful! Anyhow, that heffa! My grandmother and I have watched all of Marsha's episodes with our mouths hanging open. I couldn't take it any longer I had to try to find some outlet I thought she might read to give her and her spineless husband my two cents...and this "high profile" wedding w/400 guests..please! It was room enough to Harlem Shuffle between those pews. They.were.empty. And his father is a Bishop?! How could his family let their brother marry this demon (since he is CLEARLY incapable of making his own decisions)?! I'm just saddened Judge Mableline is no longer on the bench to preside over the divorce preceedings.

Just want to keep you in synch...

Did anyone know that Archie has signed up on "Match.com"? Yes, it's true. While reading other Bridezilla post, one comment stated that she recently went out to the site, put in her specs and low and behold one of her matches was Archie.

Now several folks asked if this was recent. Yes. He viewed it no less than 48 hours ago and his age states 28 (he was 27 when Bridezillas aired).

Take a peek if your interested.

$83,000! I don't see it. What irritated me most about Marsha was when she was about to say I do and she paused at looked at the camera. WTF? I hope Archie finds someone else. Two receptions? What was the deal with all of the groomsmen in top hats? and if it costs 83 g's then why didn't she hire a coordinator instead of having his sister to do it. Ok Marsha....who are you fooling!
