Bare Minerals

Has anyone heard of Bare Minerals makeup or know anyone that uses it? I'm not really into makeup like powder and foundation, but I love eye makeup. I know, sounds weird. Anyway, I've been looking for a light makeup and this looks like it's good. But I'm not into infomerical shopping. Comments/opinions please.

Re: Bare Minerals

I've heard of it! I haven't tried it being that I sell Mary Kay. Before I used a little MAC here and there. You can go to the makeup counter of the brand of your choice in the mall and set up an appointment to get your make-up done. Or contact a Mary Kay consultant in your area. Go to www.marykay.com and look for a consultant in your area by putting in your zip. He or She can do a complete bridal facial for you, and even how you what to do on your wedding day. Or just see if you have a make-up savvy friend you does a good job on her own face to hook you up for free. Or a salon often has make-up consultants too!
Make-up is what you make of it-the top brands are mostly all the same-Mary Kay, MAC, Fashion Fair, Revlon, Cover Girl included. Mary Kay consultants just give faithful clients free and discounted products-something I couldn't get from MAC-and I was faithful.
Anyhoo, sheer pink, rose colors, gold, shimmery eyeshadows are the popular wedding colors for today. If you have darker skin, the same applies, but in a little bolder form. Thats my advice for free:)

I was watching QVC yesterday and they were featuring Bare Essentials makeup. It seems like a nice line. I may purchase something from them, not sure yet though.
