Re: Bridesmaid accessories

that IS a good question. What is the theme of your wedding dear? Is it an indoor or outdoor ceremony?

If the the ceremony was indoor this will be a wonderful suggestion to have the walk down with the lights dimmed and the candle lits

Candles are very nice. I've been to several weddings were the ladies carried candles. Awesome!

Re: Bridesmaid accessories

here are some web sugguestions i've found, i hope they help:

bridesmaids carry:

candles in brandy glasses

ribbon wrapped candles

carry a glass latern with a candle in it (best for outdoor evening wedding & the lanterns can double as bridesmaids' gifts)

a bouquet of ribbon bows would look quite nice if done in satin ribbons

balloons in your wedding colors w/ a note inside that will be released into the sky at the end of the ceremony.

Sparklers are another hot item they can carry if you've decided to exchange your vows outside. Give your girls two: one for the way down and a second set to hold on the way back.

a single flower with a ribbon wrapped up the stem.

silver or crystal wedding bells to be rung at the 'kissing' of the bride & groom

I found this article in my search

Unique Ideas for Bridesmaids 'bouquets

Also from a website I found:
"We are planning a fall evening wedding. We plan to have the maid of honor and the bridesmaids carry a cobalt blue depression glass candle stick with a peglite in it so it will burn a votive candle of a color in our wedding. This will prevent wax from spilling on the girls dresses. The candle stick will be decorated with a bow, greenery and a single rose bud. This will be a very nice look, with the candles lit, as they make their enterence in the low light of the church. This is also less exspensive then a bouquet, plus it will double as part of their gift."
