ASKALOT:: FLOWERS?

I am not sure, something in the cream, white family. I need ideas. I want the colors to be cream, white and brown.

Do you have a theme or color scheme in mind?

OMG, I bought the burnt orange petals from ebay too. Like 1600 of them. They were in a bag of 200 though. Askalot, I know we are doing the ame colors, ivory, burnt orange and gold but what are you doing for ceremony and reception decor? I'm doing the fall theme.

Sounds good ladies. BTW I love those burnt orange rose petals. I will be using silk roses.

PB&J, girl you have some great taste! lol But, here's my plans so far witih the orange/ivory/rose theme.

• Everyone in the bridal party will have roses. My MOH's, BMs and GM will all have orange bouquets/bouts/coursages
• FH & I will have ivory bouts/bouquets
• Flowergirl (daughter) will throw ivory and orange rose petals
• Cake will have orange roses
• Favors are mini ivory cake candles accented with roses
• Centerpieces - 4 votives on a rd mirror tile with orange rose petals on mirror and scattered on table
• BM/MOH will wear burnt orange dresses
• GM will wear black tux with orange/ivory vests
• Me and FH will be wearing all ivory
• Reception room (ivory chair covers with orange or gold sash)

Askalot your whole ceremony/reception is going to be so beautiful, I can't wait to see the pictures!!!!!

I just hung up with my Banquet Mgr and me and Bossie are going to have a meeting with him next week.

Askalot, We have similar ideas. I tried to cut and paste but don't think it worked. My ideas are listed under yours

* Everyone in the bridal party will have roses. My MOH's, BMs and GM will all have orange bouquets/bouts/coursages

All my ladies will have multicolor(burnt orange, ivory, yellow, fushia) kissing ball rose bouquets

* FH & I will have ivory bouts/bouquets
My bouquet is multicolor (burnt orange, fushia, yellow & red)
Husband will were burnt orange bout

* Flowergirl (daughter) will throw ivory and orange rose petals
FG's will through burnt orange, red & Fuschia rose petals) we will also have those rose petals scattered around the alter,& inside of the globe pew marker with candle)
* Cake will have orange roses
I will have fresh orange roses on my cake too, with ivory candles lit, tulle and ivy wrapped around the cake stand

* Favors are mini ivory cake candles accented with roses
My favors are personalized burnt orange ink pens, book marks, and a personalized Cd with our picture on it. The Cd will be inside the program, which will be for the ceremony & reception.

* Centerpieces - 4 votives on a rd mirror tile with orange rose petals on mirror and scattered on table

My centerpieces are 11"hurricane vase with burnt a orange candle inside, mirror tile, fall leaves(silk)and burnt orange rose petals scattered about the table and then 3-4 ivory votive candles in holder
I will try and post a picture of what it will look like. I think I did it a while ago so I'll look it up.

* BM/MOH will wear burnt orange dresses
Same for mine(all 10 will have on a different style dress)

* GM will wear black tux with orange/ivory vests
GM will wear ivory tux w/ burnt orange vests & tie

* Me and FH will be wearing all ivory

* Reception room (ivory chair covers with orange or gold sash)
Same (they are so costly) but I'm determined to make it happen.

PB&J, I can't wait to see your pics too. The bouquet if very nice. My cake, I forgot to add, will have candles around it and a lighted fountain underneath. I like your ideas as well. I'm going to check out that post now.

I thought silk flowers were the way to go because they will last longer my bouquets, cosages,boutineers, and centerpieces ae being made by the company Custom Silk Creations

I will be using silk flowers too! I dont like the boquet the island is offering and I can't take fresh flowers on the boat, so I will be using silk!
