Too many people so little places

TO BEGIN WITH, I UNDERSTAND YOUR PROBLEM AND YOU WLD THINK PEOPLE WLD NO BETTER THAN TO ASK TO BE IN SOMEONE'S WEDDING! I THINK THAT'S KINDA RUDE,DEPENDING ON WHO IT IS. UNFORTUNATLY U CANNOT INCLUDE EVERYONE OR YOU WILL HAVE A 3 HOUR LONG CEREMONY:) JUST EXPLAIN I'M HAVING A REALLY SIMPLE CEREMONY AND WHILE I AM HONORED THAT YOU WLD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE, AND I WLD LOVE FOR YOU TO, THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO AT THIS TIME OTHER THAN ATTEND WITH BEST WISHES. IF SOMETHING COMES UP, I WILL DEFINITLY KEEP YOU IN MIND. FOR THOSE YOU FEEL U HAVE TO INCLUDE, THEY CAN LIGHT CANDLES, PASS OUT PROGRAMS, FAVORS ETC. RETREIVE BROOM, CANDLES ETC. IF U ARE DOING,OR ESCORT PEOPLE TO SEATS. GOOD LUCK!!!

I'm with TAJMOM on this Allies.....you will always need ushers/hostesses....and if you are not having any reception staff---you'll need people to help serve the food....You can always use help with your "hostesses" maintaining order in the food lines if its a buffet and not a plated service.....I did this for a friend who had no one else to help her 2-person catering crew...so all the hostesses were servers/ushers/whatever else....
You can also use some decorators, or ask whoever is helping you coordinate if they need some help because truthfully, your bridal party will be too busy helping you and your FH to do programs and decorate and set out favors and all...

Oh yeah, U can make a list of duties to see what needs to be done, and if there is a gap, let your friend(s) fill in...if there is nothing left, but they are already invited to the wedding (emphasis on already invited) then you can just say that "everything is covered, and I just want you all to be my guest and enjoy" ....If they are not already invited-cause some people may want to help so they can be AT the wedding for food (I'm just keeping it real), then bring up how large you and FH families are and that you guys have a tight budget that you are pushing already....

I agree w/ you ladies. Allies you just have to be firm and let them know I appreciate your offer but you r services are needed now and I will keep you in mind if something comes up.

Ditto, you are very thoughtful Allies, but you can't include everyone. Just kindly thank them and let them know you appreciate their kindness, but you have everything covered.

Ditto Too! Just say thanks but at this time I think I have all the people I need but I will definitely keep you in my mind if something else comes up. It says alot about you as a person for people to be asking to be in your wedding. Sounds like You are loved and supported! They can always help in some small way because things will come up and there is so much to be done. best wishes!

Allies, if you don't have anywhere to put them, then just tell them that. This should be a stress free situation. Just say to them, "I'm sorry but I've already picked out the wedding attendants and I can't think of anything that there would be for you to do. But, if anything comes up, I'll be sure to let you know." They may even ask you if the could do "such and such" (and it could be something that you didn't even think about). As for your singers, have them sing We Must Be In Love by Pure Soul (Cheesing because that's my first dance song).
