Hello Ladies,
I'm new to the board. I am marrying my best friend on November 25th, 2006. I decided to join after reading various boards and seeing such a sincere bond and sisterhood regardless of the topic. At such a wonderful and exciting yet nerve racking time like planning a wedding (albeit big or small) it is so very needed. My FH and I are tying that knot at the Botanical Gardens and I can't wait. We live in Tx and the weather should be anywhere between 60-80 degrees (I pray).

I totally agree. These sistahs are the truth. It is so good to communicate with people on the same page, sharing/exchanging ideas, and getting honest opinions. I'm not sure how would get through some of my issues without my vibrides. It makes a big difference discussions my issues with my cyber sistahs. Thanks girls.

The sister hood has really helped me when I did not have any one to talk to or help me the sisterhood was there. It is a wonderful thing when black women can come together to help each other

Congratulations and welcome mrspatrick2b! I know I'm pretty much repeating everyone before me, but this sisterhood is wonderful. Everyone is so creative, resourceful, and understanding. There have been so many times that no one else understood what I was going through or why I felt a certain way but my sisters here. Love you all!
