Hi ladies, as most of you know I've had to change my reception venue because the original venue was relocating. To make a long story short because everything changed, the time has changed from an afternoon ceremony to a morning ceremony. I read that black tuxedos are for afternoon/evening functions. My fiance refuses to budge on wearing another color tux. He said he wants to wear black and that is it. My colors are navy blue and platinum and I wanted him to wear a grey tux. He will not budge. He wants to wear black with platinum accessories. Ladies, what are you thoughts on this. I don't want this to turn into a problem. Thanks.

Then don't let it turn into a problem Rhony. If he wants to wear black...by all means let him. There are so many rules and etiquette about wedding planning. You have said it a million time before, now take your own advice "It's your wedding, do what you want". Just because some book says you can only wear black in the evening...so what. It's hard enough trying to get our men to participate in our planning. Let the man have something his way. I say let him wear black. He will still look good! Remeber a post I had a while ago when me and hubby couldn't agree on what color vest he should wear? He insisted on white and I didnt want white...I let him have his way and he was fiiinnnneeeee!!!!!
Thanks for the reality check Bossie!

your welcome Rhony
I agree bossie! let him have his way! They don't get to make too many decisions as it is. And besides he has to be comfortable. That grey would have been off the chain though. I love that color tux.

Your most welcome
I agree let him wear black. Most men don't care about the wedding its what comes after that they are concerned about. So let him feel like he has some input on the wedding. You don't want to regret it in the end. I believe it is still going to look good.
he did. lol

My bad I'm way past late. I guess you can tell that I'm not the best at using this site.
Don't beat yourself up KMED, we've all did it in the beginning that's why we can laugh about it now.
