Gifts with no name

What do I do about acknowledging gifts that were received with no card or name attached?

ummm I have no idea. You cant really send a thank you card to "nobody". How about checking the store regisrty and see if they may have paid with a card.

If you have everyone sign your guest book then you might be able to narrow down the names. Then you just send a "Thank you", although it might not be specific, but I personally believe that people will appreciate receiving a thank you card nonetheless.

Re: Gifts with no name

Ditto, but why would anyone give a gift with no name unless they forgot? I'm sure it was an oversight but it is often hard to tell because some guests donn't sign the guestbook and some don't bring gifts. Good luck on finding the giver of the gift.
