Hey. I live in a very very small town and I am trying to find a neutral spot to have my wedding ceromony. My resources are very limited. The town does not have a community or government center.I do not want to get married in a church, but I will as a last resort. Any suggestions?

Some towns have nice public parks you can use for free. You just have to pay for chair rental.
Check out some reception halls. Some allow you to have the ceremony in the same place.

I am doing my reception in a very nice and popular local restaurant...This particular restaraunt has a large banquet room and another couple did the ceremony in the banquet room on the dance floor. Also....It was very informal, yet intimate...right after they exchanged vows, the couple and the guests got right down to the reception celebration! ALSO, some restauraunts will not charge you to use the room, only for the food, like my reception site!
I think is a possiblity because all your guests will already be seated at the tables. Also, if possible, you can get a small rizer or stage to exchange the vows.....All things are possible through Christ....PLUS, My church is doing our ceremony (since I am a member) for free, so we are saving about 500.00. I didn't want to do this initially, and was going to pay 600.00 to have the ceremony at a private garden park, but they couldn't provide a space to do the ceremony in case of rain....PLUS, we figured why spend it if you can save it...evn if you can afford it?

I agree with the ladies! Also, If you already have a spot in mind for the reception then see if you can also do the ceremony there.

My advice to you is to go to neighboring towns and see what banquet halls they may have. If that doesnt work you can alway get a permit for the park or have the ceremony at a friend/family house. Just rent some chair's and tents in case it rains.

The ladies have offered some awesome advice. You may also check with your town's museums, or masonic halls. They are usually cheaper than renting a banquet hall. Good luck and keep us posted.
