Hi ladies. I'm having my older sister and brother roll out the aisle runner for me - I probably won't have any ushers. What name could I put in the program? I don't want to say Aisle runner people. lol

You can call them attendants or ushers.

House, I prefer not to call them ushers. I'm looking for a "different name". You know how someone rolls out the red carpet for a queen or something? I am really drawing a blank.
Somebody, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease help me!
I like Attendants or (Bride's/Groom's) Assistants.....
Escort, helper, aide, collaborator, guide, and shepard showed up in the Thesaurus.
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.
Delight yourself also in the Lord & He shall give you all the desires of your heart.-Psalm 37:4
According to legend, aisle runners came about as a way to protect the bride -- either from the muddy road walked on by the wedding procession or from evil spirits believed to live underground waiting to attack the pure and innocent.
Going along this train of thought, you could call them "Warders".
wow Eloi is posting again! Nice to see you again......Ask alot did you get an answer that you wanted to use??
Thanks for the info Eloi. Have you made a decision Askalot?

Thank you all for your help and suggestions. I'm not dead set on a name yet, but I like Bride's Assistant(s). BTW, my sister backed out, but that's a whole 'nother story.
Sorry to hear that your sister backed out but I know that you will be fine. And your day will turn out better then you could ever emagine.

Thank you very much house. I know I'll be fine. I have too much family not to be. lol I will probably have my brother and my son (who's the Jr. Groomsman). Which brings me to this:
Our children will definately stand out. Our daughter (FG) and my step daughter (Jr BM) will both be wearing little tiara and my son will match FH as close as possible. But, what names can I give them? (I'm talking about my stepdaughter and son. I don't want them to be Jr anything. Any suggestions?
If you are keeping up with the royal theme, why not call them prince and princess.

house, it's not so much a royal theme, but my daughter loooooooves princesses and anything in that family. So I thought I'd give her that name. The names don't have to match. I just want something different.
