It is a Saturday program for young people ages 11-17. The application deadline is September 30, 2006. "The mission of The New York Life/Schomburg Center Junior Scholars Program is to empower young black minds for optimal educational achievment and social and professional success." Exactly Askalot! I visited the Museum for the first time when I was in college and it was such an awesome experience. I agree everyone should definitely go and check them out. For those of you who don't know the Museum is located on 135th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem, New York.
