Angie's wedding gown

Hi Ladies,

This is my first try so be easy on me.....I want to see if I typed in the proper Html to post this picture of my wedding gown. It is actually a custom-made maternity bridal gown, but I chose it for comfort. The sleeves will be 3/4 and I may wear gloves since the wedding is in October in Sedona at night.
The sister wearing it is sporting the hat and hairstyle. I really must copy that hair! I will try to think of a veil, maybe a mantilla style or something...any suggestions (easy girls..I'm a classical, Audrey Hepburn type chic...nothing beaded, glittered , ghetto or country).

Your gown is very elegant looking. I love chiffon. Are you wearing ivory or white?

Welcome Angela!
I actually like your gown. If I was a little more svelte I probably would pick the empire-waist gown like yours. I think this is very elegant and classy! Can't wait to see your pics of the actual gown if you have a chance to show it.

Also, the gown will have 3/4 sleeves and I may wear pearls and white leather opera gloves with a pearl choker, pearl ankle-strapped shoes and pearl earrings....it will look classy.

Re: Angie's wedding gown

I will ladies aand thanks so much for you undying support...you ladies are alright!!!
I'm sooo excited to be sharing my life with a very caring man. We have our moments..okay hours where it's a mexican standoff but on the whole, isn't that what life is all about?
There is so much I love about my FH that I sometimes wake up and pich myself to see if I am having a dream?

Sometimes at night..I wake up to watch him sleep and just smile to myslef. He is strong even when he is sleeping...probably thinking of what to get me for Christmas..! He just rolls over and grabs me with both arms in his sleep- he is soooo protective, natural instinct I guess.
How about you ladies? Am I weird?

Re: Angie's wedding gown

Ah ladies thank, thank you so much! Thanks to you Rosetta..

Thanks for helping me out..you gals are great, and I am soooo glad to be getting married and being part of the Vibride family..yeah baby!

By the way, my theme is classical, baroque or french colonial. I even hired a violinist to play Pachebel, which is actually I think more of a classical Christmas melody but I heard it on the Estee Lauder commercial and thought "that would be an interesting tune on the violin".
Actually, I always wanted to learn how to play a violin and saxophone- 2 of the most sexiest instruments I can think of...except for Chris Botti playing the trumpet(man he his hot and yummy!)...I couldn't get him though...booked solid(lol)
the dream dress was originally this one:

This is a very, very sexy dress but no one would copy it exactly or did not have an embroidery machine to work it. I was not about to get my butt kicked for spending 1,500.00 bones!

I was going to have FH dress up in a morning coat and tails and have bridesmaids dress up like Marie Antoinette, complete with the high updo type curly hair and classical music playing in the background, while everyone did the waltz...sort of like a 16th century french masquerade.

Re: Angie's wedding gown

Bumbelbeekee!

Hey lady...you can have this dress custom made just like I did. The website is www.bridesmaidtailor.com and it is made fo the bride in mind that has so much to do but no one to do the gowns on time!
I know...it's dicey, they are in China but this site comes recommended by quite a few brides I have been emailing. SO, I can post this with some degree of confidence. By the way, this dress normally would cost me about 750.00 to 1,200.00---cost me (drum roll please!)227.00 including shipping!
I will let everyone know how my dress turns out..by posting my pics of course...once I get the dress and the wedding pictures back in hand.
