Hi Ladies! Okay, I've decided to go with a church wedding, with the reception being held at a little place that my family owns. (trying to cut down on expenses). I've got a caterer, also...(friend of me and FH...the guy can BURN!). Now, I am trying to nail down my colors. I have always said that I want my BM's to wear a coral peach or a persimmon color, but I want my 2 daughters to wear another color. Would Sage or Celadon be a good color to compliment? How about an accent color...ivory or silver? Oh, side note: I saw a dress in a Latte color with a chocolate bow/sash around it....GORGEOUS!! But I'm thinking those colors may be too dark for a Spring wedding...
Somebody take my hand and guide me PLEASE!

Why dont you try melon. You can look on after hours website and see what I am talking about. It is a nice green color. I know the exact dress you are talking about, it's from david's bridal. It is straight down and flares at the bottom like a mermaid gown. That is beautiful.

That's it, HW! It looks so elegant! I went on my lunch break to a couple of fabric shops looking for color swatches in the colors that I mentioned. Neither of them had anything that I was looking for, except I did see a shade of green that I liked. The melon shade is pretty, also. But the coral color is eluding me.

Palm beach coral at David's is a pretty color. My cousin marriedin May and we wore that color and the FG's wore ivory dresses with champagne sash and her dress was ivory & champagne. You may want to consider that too.

A friend of mine is getting married in April and her colors in melon and peach. I really do love that melon color. At first when I started to plan my wedding I wanted my bridesmaids to wear burnt orange,, but when I saw a champagne wedding dress and realized I had to have it I quickly changed my colors.
