I was not able to see your dress, if you want you can email me a picture and I will post it for you ( smth_tr@yahoo.com), Now let's get to the veil situation. I have a very elaborate ball gown and I have always wanted a cathedral length veil so i got one! My veil does not have a blusher ( the piece that covers your face) just tell the bridal shop that you don't want a blusher. I also had my veil extended by 5 inches ( that was my diva moment) lol lol lol......

I'm not a veil person, so I can't say...When you go to the shop to try it on, ask the rep to give you a cathedral length veil so you can see how it looks together. I agree with GeorgiaGurl, though, no blusher. Here's an article from this site about choosing your veil---> Choosing your veil

I was not a veil kind of girl either, but when I tried on my dress and they matched it with a veil I feel in love with it. I am still debating however if I should add a blusher. Dont know if I want anything over my face.

My mother insisted that I wear a veil. Our very own Phenomonique help me to choose the perfect veil for my dress. You have to try your dress and veil on together and then you will know which one is the right one! Good luck Mycenae1918!

I will have a veil. And FH wants me to have a blusher, and so I will! lol (Even though I already was going to have a blusher. I just want him to think that he got something he requested. lol)

A plain cut edge, cut edge with scattered pearls, or a short mantilla veil would look good with that gown.

My veil is simular to the lady with the pink back ground except it is champagne and has little crystals around the trimming

Here is my veil. This one has a blusher, mine is exactly like this one but I don't have a blusher. It's also ivory and a little longer because I had about 8 in added to it. (another diva moment) lol lol

My veil is arms length. It has a blusher and tiny swarkoski(SP) beads scattered all over.It is white to match my dress.

I love dresses and veils with a splash of color. If I do not like the dress I picked when I go to try on dresses, I may opt for one with lavender or purple.

I am very concerned about having the lace in the veil match the lace on the dress. Does anyone have any suggestions. Should I have the veil made?

Hello, I'm new to this site, so I don't know if this was already suggested, have you thought about just using a tiara and no veil?.....
I was going to just use a tiara and not a veil, however when I tried on my dress and the lady insisted on me trying on the veil, it made a world of a diffrence. It seemed to me like adding the icing on the cake.

That makes sense because I was originally saying that I didn't want a veil at all....only a tiara or maybe flowers or something laced through my hair...but once the consultant tried on a couple veils on me.....I knew I had to have one...I just need to find a tiara to wear with it.
