These are the instructions: When you go to the website, Enter 'Karen Abdool' or Orlando Hall' in the event section first and ours will come up. Then I think you have to create a password or something to see them and then put in the event key. It's annoying I know but try it and tell me if it works.

I've been so out of it because I had the wedding and two sets of boards all in a row pretty much. But the worst of the storm is over and I'm glad to be back on the boards.
Orlando and I got married on October 1st Frederick Maryland. We were at a tiny mansion called the Ceresville mansion - the wedding was quite small so it worked for us. The little girl in the pictures is Orlando's daughter. She and I exchanged vows, and we did the sand ceremony to unite our family. It was wonderful and my new daughter now talks about 'her wedding dress' and 'our wedding' all the time!

Kay-Kay, all I can say is wow! You are so beautiful and your wedding day was too! You were a stunning bride! I loved all the pics. The colors, your dress, the Bm's dresses, the decor for both ceremony & reception,and even the silk table cloths. Girl you truly did your thing. Who did your decor and designed you dress and the BM's dresses? They did a wonderful job. You and your hubby looked so happy and your little lady is so cute! My florist was Spot FLoral Designs. I found them quite by accident but they did an awesome job outside and inside and provided the table cloths, candles and centerpieces. They did my bouquet - I almost started crying when they brought it to me at first - it was exactly what I wanted. I don't know if you guys remember that I was saying in previous posts that I was going for Caribbean elegance and not the Leis and tikki torches that every one associates with the Caribbean? Well I was surprised but Between the florist and my wedding coordinator they really pulled it off. The bouquet was not hard to hold at all. I designed my dress and had a local seamstress sew it. I saw a picture of a bridesmaid dress and modified the design to be a little more Afrocentric - they were also made. Also I just want to thank you Rosetta - the sand ceremony was BEAUTIFUL and it really united our family. It was a great idea and I'm so grateful that you suggested it.

Your wedding was beautiful....every detail! Loved your dress, as well as the bridesmaides dresses. You photographer did an excellent job, you're going to have a tough time trying to decide which ones to include in the album.
Where did you find an African American String Quartet? Was that Eboni Strings? I would Loooooove to have an African American string quartet. Please provide me with that information.
