Askalot, how many columns do you need? The reason I ask is that sometimes they are cheaper to purchase from a craft store than rent and that way you can use them at home for decor. I have made a dining room table from using columns. Just adding my 2 cents.
House, you may like them, but they just weren't nice enough for me. THanks for the suggestion PB&J. I've even contacted florists, but they are so expensive. I need a total of around 6. And they range anywhere from $25 - $50 a piece.
Girl, I think I'm just going to have to break down and pay the $25/$50 to rent them. I went to some places and they are just too high to rent. The good thing in FH will pick them up in him pickup truck so I don't have to pay for delivery, but I'm still looking.
I will be renting my columns. It's 20.00 for the small set of 2 and 30 for the large set of 2. The place is in GA. I'm not sure where you are located but that seem to be about the price I get everywhere I call.
You just read my mind. My FH and I were on Rt. 1 last weekend and we stopped to look at them. He's not sure if he likes them though. I think he was hoping for an arch.

Onyx & Ajia, thank you sooo much for the suggestion. I've never heard of this place. I will be sure to give them a call and check them out by this weekend.
Ajia, what did your FH not like about them? Were they dirty looking to you?
I went to McGowan and the store clerk told me that they could make the columns in the back. You dont have to use the one's that's out in the front of the store.
I found them for much cheaper. It's 2 - 6 foot and 2 - 4 foot for a total of $90. If anyone needs to rent them from NJ, just let me know and I can give you the details.

Ladies I don't mean to sound clueless, but what are the columns used for? I didn't have any columns.

Rhony, not everyone have them. I'm not having an arch, I wanted columns. Here's a pic.

Did you try Millers on Rt 1 South...going towards Edison? They may have them at a reasonable rate.

Thanks for the heads up house. Did they say if there was an additional charge for them making new ones?
