It's amazing that we are in the last month of 2006. Some of us have gotten engaged or married this year. Still others are preparing for marriage in 2007 and year(s) going forward. This is the time where most of us reflect on the year's past and also on the coming year. We have so much to be thankful for. What are some of your New Year's Resolutions?

Hello Ladies. I have been out of commission for awhile. Computer was down. I missed you ladies. My New Years resolution is to lose weight and continue to work on being a better person.

I stopped making resolutions because I never keep them, however I have started a new job working in the oncology department and I see those people suffering from cancer and I am so thankful that my family, extended family, friends, and vibride sisters are all healthy and happy.

I forgot to mention that my husband and I have resolved to lose weight together. I am so grateful because we want to be healthy and be around for each other. I feel good about it because it is just another thing that we can work on and encourage each other with -- together.
Congrats on the new job Housewife! It is a blessing to have your health. I worked in a hospital for 11 years and I learned everyday to count my blessings, just seeing patients who don't have their health just makes you appreciate what so many people take for granted.

My resolution is to be a better person and to live a healthy lifestyle. I am by no means over weight but I am not a healthy person. I do not exercise nor do I eat healthy. I need to start doing that so I can be around my family as long as possible.
My new years resolution is to live healthier and to learn how to cook. At my job, we order lunch way too much (especially from Je's in Newark). My FH can cook but when we are married I can't make him cook all the time. Also, I can start bringing the leftover for lunch rather than buying all the time. That would be good for my waist as well as my wallet.

You will learn how to cook. Practice makes perfect. For me, I want to make healthier food choices. Eating healthy is an acquired taste. I love fried chicken, baked macaroni & cheese, cakes, pies, etc. I want to get more into baked foods and salads. That would work wonders for my figure too! -- LOL!!!!!

I never keep my resolutions either. But, I need to lose weight (A MUST) and I need to SAVE, SAVE, SAVE. Time is flying. I remember saying, "I'm going for my dress in 4 months", now it's next month. Oh my.
Ajia, my problem was I couldn't stop going to The Barbeque Hut. Je's was too far for me to walk (lazy). I used to work at PSE&G downtown.
lol, Je's is not a close walk but the downfall for me is that they deliver. I never knew that until I started working here. My boss is a very good customer of theirs and they are always throwing in extra food for us. Very dangerous.
