Processional

I'm thinking of having my Godmother come in because I'm very close to her. I'm afraid that my aunts will get jealous though. There is already tension between them.

Special aunts and God mothers

If you do not want to cause any problems between aunts and godmothers, you can always honor your godmother by giving her a special corsage. She will appreciate it. (Maybe you can explain to your aunts why your godmother is so special to you and let them know you love them too.)

I belive that all counts as processional.

I'm going to break it up and have a dancer after the bridal party and have her bring the runner down the aisle during the dance. Then the flower girl and I will enter.

That sounds nice. What type of dance will be performed? (Ballet, etc?) What is your dancer going to wear? Will she have on your wedding colors?

Our church has a liturgical dance ministry so the dancer is a member of one of the groups. I may just have her wear white since I know that they already have white garments. I might give her a purple sash to wear around her waist or give a purple ribbon to wave but we'll see. I'm still trying to decide what song to have her dance to. I don't want it to be too long since it's interupting the processional and people will be waiting.

Askalot, did you have anyone else in mind for your processional?

You can always seperate the processional by saying entrance of mother of bride and mother of groom and then saying processional of bridal party. It's your wedding and you can do whatever you want or need to do.

I agree or you could add a middle sheet of paper with everyone's names on it.

Aija St. James is a wonderful church, they have so many great activities. What a blessing to the community. My husband just said to me yesterday, we should go visit. I told him that we would.

Hi ladies, I'm going to have the mothers and the grandmothers come down and after that there will be a dance. Ajiamarie I know you said you have not picked out a song yet for the dance. I picked a song that went my theme. Do you have a theme? I'm suppose to have two dancers. One of them broke their ankle about two weeks and will take nine months to recover. But GOD is good so I'm not worry he will make a way he always does. I will have them where white with the ribbon to match the wedding colors.

That sounds nice. I am not going to have dancers but I am going to have what I call my little angel girls. They will come out before my flower girl and myself. They will be wearing an ivory dress with a champagne sash, they will have little angel wings on there backs, and they will be ringing a bell saying the bride is coming the bride is coming. I will have it listed as mothers of the bride and groom, and bridal procession, entrance of the bride.
