GOWN HELP PLEASE!!!

Askalot, I'm leaning toward dress #2 but which one is your heart set on? You should probably go with your first instinct.

Askalot #2 gets my vote, I love the back of that dress. The front is really beautiful too!

Two is very nice but my heart (not to be confused with yours, which is the ultimate decision) is set on the first #1.

LOVE LOVE LOVE dress #1, color similar to mine, guess I'm biased.

I vote for #2 unless you have a high booty cuz then the back detail won't lay flat and that's the best part.

I saw dress #2 on a site awhile ago and was thinking of getting it for myself. So I vote for #2!

No I haven't heard from her. She did mention in another post that she would be away for 5-6 weeks. So I guess we'll have to wait until then. I'm sure everything was wonderful.

ok I know I'm late but I vote #1. It is hard since you have to see a dress on a person in order to really know. I have seen dresses look beautiful on the model but look like crap on NORMAL people. I suggest you try them both on and see which 1 looks best on you.

Yeah take a camara with you and take a pictures of yourself with both of the dresses on.

My vote is for #2 it has more detail. It's really nice. I know you would look good in either one so, go with your heart.

I really feel bad now. You are already picking your dress and I don't even have one and my wedding is in four months. It's been so crazy on my end. I thank GOD for blessing me with another year to be here for Christmas but I did not have a good one.

Don't worry KMED, I got my dress when I was almost 4 months away too. I know that when you get your dress it will be beautiful and you will love it. You still have time, but give yourself 2 months for alterations. Take care, and now that Christmas has passed, take happiness for yourself. It will be a great year. We are getting married! Yay:)

Girl dont worry you will be fine. I found a dress at David's Bridal that I fell head over heels for it was 1,000. However somthing kept telling me not to buy the dress. Last week I was looking in one of those bridal magazines that I ordered and was taken away by another dress. This dress had more detail. I went online and found a bridal salon that sold the dress, they said they just recieved this dress and wamted 800.00 for it. So of course I was excited. I was talking to a friend of mine who just got married labor day weekend, she asked me who made the dress and the item number. She called me back last night and told me that the bridal salon she ordered her bridesmaids dresses from had the dress I was interested in and it was 400.00 and a 25.00 shipping fee. I am going to go to the bridal salon that is near my house try the dress on, get my measurements and order it from the company that is charging 400.00. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

Hold your horses, I tried on that dress friday at a bridal salon in irvington and it was nothing like i looked in the magazine. I guess I will have to get the one from db.

Didn't you love your DB one anyway? As long as you look fly...The dress itself is imporant secondary to how you feel in it.

Sept, you are not missing anything. It's just Onyxswan still has nt choosen her dress. So at work, her and I go bck and forth about when she will get one. On another note I told you Wifey from experience, dresses that look good on the models do nt always look good on us and sometimes the dresses we think are nt that great, look like they were made for us.

Remember,the photos are often retouched to "jazz it up" a bit. Honestly,if you look at some of the models,they really aren't "all that" but once the make-up artist and photographer do their thing,the model looks stunning in that dress.(Hope I don't sound like a hater).

I agree with TAJ,we just have to find what's best for us.
