Hello everyone! I just wanted to ask you guys to say a special prayer for my Mom. Lately she has been having problems with her feet. They give her pain to the point that she is bed ridden and can't get around very well. I called her today and she didn't sound like herself and I am very worried. I am going to go and take her to the doctor. Sometimes older folks don't like going to the doctor, but enough is enough already. I am also feeling a little frustrated because I have 3 siblings who live in New York (I live in New Jersey and I don't have a car yet) and they don't seem to care. I am the one that is always going to see about her (not that it is a problem, but it's their Mom too). Just continue to keep my family in your prayers. Thank you.

RHony, I will certainly keep your mom in my prayers. My mom is the same way though. She fell last year and refused to get checked out. Now, she's having problems with her knee. They're very hard-headed.

Yes, as a matter of fact my neice and sister went with her. They felt bad. Anyway, my Mom has Gout in her feet. The doctor put her on a special diet. She was also dehydrated with a bad bladder infection. They hooked her up to an IV, gave her a prescription for antibiotics and pain killers. She is back home now. I would like to thank all of you for taking time out of your schedules to pray for my Mom. I told her that you ladies were praying for her, she said to tell you ladies thanks and that she believes in the power of prayer.

I just want to let you ladies know that I often pray for everyone up on Vibride. I know it's hard when we are trying to go in a positive direction with our life is when it seems like things are the hardest. I'm sooo glad to see/read about all of the support that we lend each other.
DR- your mom will be in my prayers tonight, I'm glad to hear she's on the mend.
I'm SO glad your mother is okay. Nothing is too hard for God, big or small (what we think is small anyway). God is SO good! Keep us posted...

Here's another example of how hard-headed my mom is. She was in her very 1st car accident ever 2 days before Christmas. She complained of back pain. But, did she go get checked out? NOooooooooooooooo. I said Ma, I don't want to hear anything on Christmas morning that you don't feel well! Because we're still coming over for dinner. lol
