To me, no one would be paying attention to the singer during dinner. People will be eating & having their personal conversations at their tables. I think the jazz would be enough.

I just thought of something when I saw Music. I was so pissed at the DJ. I specifically gave him written instruction on how everything was to be, who to announce ect. The Jack-ass took it upon himself to have a "father daughter" dance. I didn't request that and before you know, I'm thrown onto the dance floor with a man that I didn't even know! That really pissed me the hell off! Thank God it's over. People are very sensitive to these things; I, for one, don't have a good relationship with my father at all. There's one thing that I've learned is that no matter how bad of a childhood you have, no one can take the place of your parents, and no one should presume to do so.
Be sure to make your instructions clear to your DJ. Let me not think about it any more, I'm so pissed.
lol, sorry to hear about what happened to you. I was thinking about having a father/daughter dance, but my father had a stroke and I dont know how comfortable he would feel dancing. I think I am going to leave that out and if he ask me to dance then we will just do so. I know that if I ask him what he wants to do he will say its up to me.

I happened to be speaking to my brother on the phone and was checking to make sure I had his correct address, when who do I hear in the background talking about "I can't go the the wedding...your mother is gonna be there..." blah, blah, blah....My good ol' pops.
Number one...I wish I was even talking to you you. Number two...I WAS going to invite you (to be cordial) but since you un-invited yourself...THANK GOODNESS! now I don't have to waste postage!

Word to ALL: make sure you DJ has explicit insturcution as to what is to be said...what is NOT, and even what song(s) you DON'T want to hear...Unless you happen to like the "chicken dance"
