Okay, am I the only one with an overly excited fiance? This man is already moving in my apartment little by little....
1st, in October I'm getting ready to go see Hezekaih Walker preach at my church, and as soon as I open the door to leave, FH and his brother has that flat screen TV thing in their hands....cool...when you can work the thing....Did I mention I now have a Playstation 2 with an XBOX 360 on the way?
Now, when I was home visiting family last week, I get a call from FH wanting to replace my beautiful wrought-iron canopy bed complete with creme-curtain things and creme bedding with a very manly king-size bed. I agree since I needed a new matress to help my aching back and this was his attempt to help me.....I get home Friday, and my house is in shambles, and I have this monstrosity with a queen sized flat sheet on top.....All I could do is shake my head and laugh...cause I almost cried when I realized a few seconds later the apartment upstairs' toilet overflowed into my bathroom 2 days before I got there...which explained a peculiar smell I encountered upon seeing my new bed. So I got to stay up until 2 AM cleaning and disinfecting....Now, FH is complaining about the price of sheets........So of course...guess who got to change all three of the registries?
I'm not complaining, but anyone going through a similar exprience where your very feminine queenly abode is becoming...uuggghhh, a little more masculine?
The man don't even live here yet!!!! lol.

Bumble, I can feel your pain. My FH and I haven't picked an apartment yet but he's really excited with the planning. We were working on the registry and he started picking out large flat screen tvs, football and basketball lamps and blankets. To top it all off, I asked him to scan towels and when I looked online, he had picked out black, blue, green and brown towels. (Yes my FH is color blind.)
I guess all we can do is grin and bear it. I'm thankful that at least he's interested in the registry at all.

FH will be moving in with me on February 1st. I have not had this problem yet, the only thing (I think) I will complain about is that CAT!!!!

THis is very funny. FH let me pick out almost everything in everyroom in our apt. His only request is when we move into our house, that the BASEMENT is HIS! I can't argue with that.
Girl, you are too funny. I guess he is moving so items now so he doesnt have much to move after the wedding.

My husband says the same thing. Right now he is out numbered with the ladies my daughter and I try to remember him and not make things too girly.

I have the biggest grin on my face right now and am dying. You all are crazy!!! DW, give it up about that cat or poison her food:)! Bumble, you know they crazy girl. Sept, me and future husband are moving to North Carolina some time after the wedding. He has a storage room, for lack of a better word, equiped w/electricity in the back of the house I've already advsd that is his to decorate, the rest of the house is mine!!!

To piggy back of House's comment about them moving things in slowly: They talk about us slowly moving into their apartments, but they do the same thing! LOL!!
Empress Rhony~ That is one thing that is going to be hard, to not make things too "girlie". And me and FH do not agree on decor to often.
TAJ~ I bet FH will be happy with his space, as long as he has somewhere to call his own.
I know he doesn't want to be girly, but he can be a little extreme so I am on guard.....we'll see what happens in the next 30-40 days....should be interesting.

I need to meet up with the NC brides... I live close to the NC/VA border. Has any of the NC brides been to the big bridal store in NC? I've seen it advertised in a bridal magazine, but forget the name....
We have a home in Warrenton, near Henderson and Rocky Mount. Closer to Henderson. It is the 1st exit in NC coming out of VA off of 85. It's one of those big utility rooms but it's fully equiped w/electricity and everything so he wants to make it a clubhouse. I told Craig he too old to have a clubhouse!lol

lol - my family is from NC too (both sides of my family). My daddy's side is from Gaston/Garysburg. That's the 3rd exit in NC off 95. My momma's side is from a small town called Enfield. It's by Whitakers/Rocky Mount.
