Traditionally and Biblically, the color white of a Bride's wedding dress represents "Purity." These days, brides basically where any color she chooses.

Hell yeah wear white! It represent your pure heart. And I think it perfectly appropriate. A little inside secret: Guys LOVE that their brides wear white. We polled 380 guys married and unmarried in 2001 and 89% preferred white dresses... even if the bride had children or had been marrried before. But African American women prefer ivory. hmmm... Something to think about!
I wore a soft white because I didn't like the harshness of a bright white dress for my evening wedding, but when I renew my vows I am wearing a blinging white dress! lol
browncat, welcome to the site! Definitely wear white if you want to. Just because it's your second wedding doesn't mean that you can't be happy. My friend got married last year and her dress was white with red trim. No one looked at her funny, no one got upset.

Welcome to the site,Browncat.I agree with the Ladies.There's nothing wrong with wearing white.This is going to be my 2nd wedding.I was going to wear white but I like the way Ivory looks with my skin tone.

Now I need your opinion on colors for bridesmaid dresses. I wanted to use something in the pink family or turquoise family. Any suggestions? What do you think about using both of those colors together. I read on the board where someone used pool and oasis together. I've seen the color pool but I've never seen the color oasis. Anyone know where I could check out the color oasis.
The groomsmen have a problem with wearing the color pink so I thought that maybe they could wear black suit with silver vest and tie. Help!!!!!!!!

brown, what are your colors for your wedding? Have you picked them yet? I think once you have your color sheme, everything else will fall into place.
