Sorry not from that area, but why dont you look up local banquet halls in your phone book or go on weddingchannel.com and put in your location. They have a listing of diffrent banquet halls and vendors in all area's.
I know someone getting married in June in the area, I am waiting for an email response to tell you where the reception is. I don't know how many people you want or what kind of reception you want to have but when I first got married (1st marriage) I had my reception in Washington Harbor at Riverside Grill. It is in Georgetown and is a nice place, not really fancy, but nice. It over looks the potomac river. My reception only had immediate family (20 pp) so it worked for us but maybe you can look at it for a bridal shower, rehersal dinner or something like that. The food was included in the price and they set it up buffet style for us. They blocked off and area for us, and we played CDs for dancing and cut our cake and had a first dance. We wanted to have it at Tony and Joe's but they had something else that day. Also, did you think about the Spirit of Washington?
The couple I refered to in my previous post are having their reception at Martin's West in Bowie/Towson. (I can't find a website for the location.....)

Try using the Perfect Wedding Guide for starters...These books are usually in jewelry stores and major dept. stores (where you'd register).
I'm a married woman as of December 2, 2006.
