Well, this is it ladies!

This is my last post as a single woman. Pray for me!

Our limo dropped out on us yesterday so I'm having to let out the country in me on their butt right now on the phone. I have the guy stuttering right now. Maybe because I sound psycho-calm like Hannibal. Don't mess with the bride! LOL.

The girl I kicked out the wedding has gotten the phone number of FH from other bridesmaids and is calling like crazy (and for what? What am I going to do for her triflin self the day before the wedding?), one of the groomsmen's tux is two different colors so we have to reorder, and I finally found a darker shade/complentary shade green dress for MOH as we ran around yesterday looking for shades of green that would mesh well.

FH and I didn't cut the programs until 1 am last night and they aren't put together yet. We fell asleep with our clothes on. Pre-marital counseling has revived both us, though. We called the devil out of house and out of the wedding. To hell with Satan!

Wish me luck! Thank you all so much for letting me share my frustrations. Everyone (but FH) says I must be taking a "downer" medicine because I am too calm (and that's only because of this site and being able to let it out here).

I'll only be gone for a few days, so I'll see yall soon!

I'm back! The wedding was..."OK"

There were things that happened that were out of my control (i.e. the florist getting mad and leaving before she was finished LOL, my coordinator leaving my wedding band on her finger and the best man having to use one of his rings for the ceremony LOL, ..etc.)

The extra people who wanted to come only popped in for a little while and left and brought no gifts or card or ate food (thank goodness). So it worked out great because the people who came and stayed were all the people I wanted there.

I was able to book a last minute lexus SUV limo and my MOH's dress blended nicely...so that was a big plus.

The second photographer set up a photo booth and let the guests take personal photos during the reception. He printed the photos out at the reception for them and had forms for ordering more - which was really cool. The guests loved it, so I recommend that idea for other brides on here.

Funnies:
1) DH was holding back tears as I read my vows. His boss came up to him during the reception and said she was going to give him a raise if he would have cried. LOL

2) The main photographer wanted a picture of us eating a strawberry together. Well, DH was sooo nervous, we ended up biting each other's teeth - causing the strawberry and our spit to hit the floor. Yuck. It was funny though.

3) I kept having to tell DH what to do. The photographer captured a photo of me being like, "GET IT TOGETHER!" (below)

Not so funny:

I became a total butthole towards the very end because my dress and veil got stepped on like 10 times and by the 10th time I was yelling like those women on the show Bridezilla.

Oh yeah, although a pretty day, it was sooo windy! I was glad my hair was plastered down because everyone's hair that wasn't looked a mess. I felt sorry for my mom because hers was every which-a-way.

I'll post the photo slideshow when the photographers hurry up.

lol! Thanks! I was like, "Ouch my veil! STOP IT!" Then when I removed my longer two teirs for the reception, my dress became the target of everyone's feet - even though it was bustled!

Thanks so much! DH doesn't want to see the video at all because he was so stiff and nervous the whole time, he's embarrassed. I think it's funny.

I didn't curse like her - she cursed like a sailor. But I sure heck did scream...

Just excited this morning! I got a call that our wedding was written up in a local newspaper. One of the men at the wedding writes a column for it (I didn't really know this) and decided to dedicate his current column to his experience at our wedding. Yay!
