Help my dress is too small. It will not sip up in the back. I have only 8 DAYS LEFT. What am I going to do????????? Has anyone had to add a corset to the back of their dress because it did not fit? Does anyone know or have pictures of wedding gowns with ribbon corset on the back? One lady said it needed to be let out about an inch. Another lady said it needed to be let out about 4 inches and that there is not enough material to let anything out.

First TRY to stay calm.....next what you probably should do is go and get EXACTLY how many inches that it needs to be let out. One lady says 1 inch, another says 4 inches...that's a big difference. Whatever it is let the seamstress take it out as much as the dress will allow. Can the zipper come up at all? How far does it come up?...
I could only image how you feel. soon gave great advice. Did you try on the gown with your undergarmet (girdle) on? Here's a pic of what a corset back looks like.

It zip just a very little. I did not try it on with the bra. She said not to wear one because it might show when she makes the corset. I'm soooooooooooo disappointed. I don't know what to do.

Make sure you are going to a semstress who knows exactly what they are doing, trust me you do not want to trust someone with you dress at such short of notice. I would go purchase a full body girdle and try my dress on. They have all colors you could purchase a nude color one, white, or ivory. They even have great girdles at walmart that are very sturdy.

Agree with the ladies. If you get a PROFESSIONAL to do it, it sounds like it might turn out lovely! Small bump in the road, no worries just take a deep breath and quick prayer, before heading out to get this done. *ask for refrences, or to see photos
