I was thinking about having gobos made for the wedding but they cost so much. :( A personalized one is about $80-100 and the you have to rent the light if your dj doesn't carry one.

Ajia, yes they can be a little pricey, for it only to be a little plate cut with your names. But, it's not an issue for me because I HAVE TO HAVE IT because I love it so much. I've never been to a wedding and actually seen this done (and I've had my share of weddings).
Musik, girl, do it! If you want it, do it. Later on you don't want to say, I wish I had done it. :-)

Thanks Vicky. That's exactly what I want - for my guests to be amazed. It can go anywhere from $150 - $250 (for the lights and the cut of of your name). Check with your DJ.

house, the guy's name is Jack. The company's name is LJ Productions. They have all different packages. Do you have a DJ yet?
I am using a dj named cecil. It is a husband and wife business. He dj's and she is the emcee. They play games with the guest they give out prizes and they even provide favors. I love your idea with the name. I am not sure if they provide that service.

I like the dj that I have already booked. It's a husband and wife duet. The husband dj's and the wife emcee's. They play games with my guest, and provide prizes. I know that they provide diffrent lighting but I am uncertain if they have done anything like this before. I would like to have someone provide this service.

WOW!!! Very beautiful! I am calling my DJ today to see if she can do that! Yes I have a Female DJ--all of my vendors are WOMEN! We just seem to know how to get it right the 1st time! ;)
