Oh my..........I didn't know that it would take so much planning. Our wedding isn't happening until Aug. 23, 2008 and we are just getting into the planning, and figuring out who is gonna do what. Invite who? Don't invite who? I am so glad that I have a while to get all this done, because for now I get to take it slow. Has anyone utilized the JC Penny Wedding Planner? I picked mine up 2 days ago, and am in love with it!!

I use the wedding channel planner but I'm sure that they are all pretty much the same. I like because I can access it from any computer and my FH can use it too. Good luck!

Yes, there is A LOT of planning for a wedding! lol But, you should have fun doing it. I have not used that planner, but I've heard good things about it. Good luck honey!
Welcome you will get alot of gret advice here.
One thing I will tell you is decide early what are the most important things to you for your wedding day!!
Remember it is only one day. If you can pay out of pocket for EVERYTHING do that. borrow as little money as possible.
Have you FH involved as much as possible. It is his day also! Talk about everything set aside time to discuss the day and your desires.
Take time away from the wedding planning.
Do your research, there are alot of great ideas out there to make your day exactly how you want it. Find out who is giving it to you at the best price before you cough over any money.
Vendors like cash use it whenever possible and ask for percentages off before you give them any money.

I suggest if you are doing it yourself, lay out what your theme is going to be then your colors. When you choose them STICK TO IT! It is too tempting to change your mind. Oh and get an organizer. It will keep you on track and your ideas all in one place.
