So I have less then 3 months left and here's what's still left to do and what I owe:

$150 left for limo service
$200 love offering for the Pastor
$300 for my wedding coordinator (to finish up stuff)
I still have to get:
My accessories(tiara,earrings, bracelet, shoes, garter, etc)
Bridal party jewlery (having it made)
Gift bags for bridesmaids
Finalize song list and compile on one cd for my minister of music
Print out all invitations, stuff and mail them

Yes, by contacting your local county clerks office they should be able to tell you. This link will give you specific information. Also do keep in mind that you and FI might both need to go although some states only require that one of you go with the other's id. Also there are still some states out there that require blood tests.

Well, on thing is crossed off this list - I got my guestbook & pen last night.

I just paid off the reception site!!! Sent the next monthly payment to the photographer, caterer, and florist. The church and the priest are paid for. We have one final meeting with the preist here before we head home for the final meeting with the priest there. Got the invites printed and partly assembled (waiting on the stamp changes. Start my fittings next week. Whew, that's alot!

June, that's a good price for a cake that you got. A lot of cakes START at $500 - &600.

Hey June....that was actually the full price of my cake. I thought that was steep, but I've heard that's not that bad.....as an update we've paid off the photography $300.....and we are about to pay off the reception hall $400 and cake $450 this week!!! YIPPEEE!!!....so what we have left is the limo $150 Pastor $200 Coordinator $300...and of course the little stuff here and there, my shoes, jewlery, BP gifts...etc...etc.....but we're moving right along!....

I'm not freaking out so much as I CANNOT wait 'til this day comes already! What's getting to me are the *little* details and things you have to work out. I mean when you start planning a wedding you know about getting the church, getting the hall, the cake, your dress....the big stuff! It's the other stuff that is tedious, the invitation list, coordinating how the bridal party will get to or from the reception hall. Will you get a hotel room for everyone? The time you want everyone to meet? The BP gifts...what are you getting? Someone asked me will I get a little clutch or something for that day, and who will I have holding it so I can touch up my makeup...I'm like I DON'T KNOW! Gifts for your parents, when you meet with your hair and make-up stylists to test for the big day. Your jewelry, tiara, shoes, passports, marriage license, hotel reservations, directions for out of town guests...etc, etc, etc......sorry.....I had to let out a rant....lol....

You're absolutely right! I used to say, what's the big deal in planning. It's just a big party. But, it's the details.LOL@will you be holding a clutch. I laughed because I got the same question from one of my bridesmaids. My answer: I am not holding a damn thing.lol I am going to ask my MOH to have all my makeup in a clutch of her own and she should let me know when I need touch ups. That's how I see it. Cause, if I have a clutch and with all I have to do, I'll lose it. I know myself. Your post is nothing but the truth because it's the "simple" things that we have to figure out and that drives us crazy.
And OMG...I completely forgot about special directions for out of town guests. Isn't that a blimp. Gotta go!
