Favor Ideas

I don't if it'll give you any ideas. Since we are having an outdoor wedding, we are using hand held fans with our picture, wedding date, and slogan.

For one of my favors we are doing something as simple as hershey kisses in pretty netting and a ribbon tyed around it with our names on the ribbon...

my co-worker just got married this past saturday and she had his and her wedding ring napkin holders. One of them was a big diamond ring, and the other was a plain wedding band. She had then in a little box like a gift box and the ribbon had there names and wedding date.Very nice.

I have searched and read several topics on favors and wanted to revive this post for myself and some of the other newbies to "borrow" some ideas!

I want to give out useful wedding favors that my guests will treasure, use, or both. Some of the weddings I've been to I can't even remember the favors or they ended up in a drawer or my car door somewhere.

My cousin gave out fans - these were useful because she married our assistant pastor and there were alot of church folk in attendance (and you know how hot sanctuaries can be!) I still see people using them on Sundays.

My MatronOH gave out a framed picture of her and her husband. This was ok for me because she's my best friend so I have it on display but I can't say others do the same.

Another wedding had the standard matchbook notepad, personalized pencils and wedding bubbles (that's what in my car door!)

I liked the idea one of the sisters on this site used - a picture of the guest in a personalized photo holder. People love to look at themselves!

What are you ladies giving, or have you gave, as favors? Has anyone updated their ideas or had a total change of heart?

We're giving out gel candles - I know - everyone does, but the difference in ours is that we're giving miniature teacups with gel candles inside which smells like cinnamon tea. We're also giving gel candles in shape of a red rose. What are you ladies doing for favors?

I will be giving out puzzles. The puzzles will have our picture on them with our wedding date. The tag will say " Putting togethor the pieces of our love".

I gave out small jars of jelly beans that matched my wedding colors. Not the cheap stuff either, we gave JELLY BELLY Soda Shoppe jelly beans. The light green tastes like 7-up, the orange tastes like Orange crush soda and the cream is supposed to taste like A&W cream soda but actually tasted like vanilla. They were a huge hit, people actually fighting over the extras.
