Ladies, my girls are wearing burnt orange dresses. Should their shoes be gold or burnt orange? The burnt orange on the shoes would be slightly lighter, just slightly though.

My bridesmaids wore tea length burnt orange dresses by Alfred Angelo. My colors were Burnt orange, Ivory and Kiwi. I considered either gold or silver shoes at first but since we had such vibrant colors I decided to tone shoes down by dyeing orange to match. Even the church was vibrant on the inside, a royal blue. Sounds crazy but it actually looked nice against our wedding colors. Made them stand out more.

I say go with the gold. Not only is gold beautiful with burnt orange, but your girls would probably be able to wear gold shoes again while they might not be able to wear burnt orange shoes again.
My girls are wearing cinnamon dresses, which is a deep shade of rust. They will be wearing bronze shoes.
I love gold, but I was worried when you said that because gold can come in hundreds of shades. Still...I vote gold, and now if you could get the ladies to stick with a single hue-
The color of my bm's dresses is cornsilk, which is a very light gold. I told them that I don't care what shoes they buy as long as it's a very light gold, and open toes. So you can try to specify it that way, or you can even find a pair of shoes you like the color of and tell them to try and match it.

I think gold would be hot! But you have to becareful with the shade of gold that you choose...not all golds are classy....if it is matte you will be just fine, it would compliment the orange nicely! Good Luck!

Good Question.
What color shoes will the guys wear? Will the colors clash if they aren't the same?
I am using Palm Beach Coral, Ivory, and Gold and I am not sure what color shoes the BM's should wear either.
I say fierce gold open toe shoes

Thanks ladies. I'm still torn because I don't think all of the ladies gold shoes would match.
Definitely gold open toe shoes or sandals
